ORV: It's Not Your Fault (Part 1)

Start from the beginning

"Take care of yourself and Dokja, okay?"

"No, no, no, you can't!"

Maybe it is your final revenge towards your deadbeat father. A pathetic revenge.

One last glance at Dokja; his eyes were now on you, trembling and dark. Tears started to pool in your eyes before you gave him a smile.

"It's not your fault."

With the rage in your eyes, recalling the days where you have been tormented and beat by the man who was your father, you raised the knife up.

Each beating your mother had endured. Each punch your father lands on Dokja when you're not home, you engrave it in your mind.

You wished it was you who had been the one who killed him and not your brother. You wished that he would not remember the truth. A loud shout left your mouth, attempting to alert your neighbors before the knife was embedded in your father's flesh once more.

"Stop, [Name]!"

Your mother begged you to stop your action, but you didn't. She was pulling you away from the corpse of the man, but you didn't budge at all. Until you could hear the footsteps from outside.

"What happen—?! Ahh, someone's died!"

"Call the police and ambulance!"

At the age of 18, you have a new record you can't erase forever in your life.

You feel no remorse by taking the blame. But what you regret is that you left your brother when you said you would never do that.

At that moment, you knew, the nightmare was just the beginning to prepare you for the worst.

~~~
Buk!
Pang!
Keheok!
"Get up!"
"Please, stop."
Buk! Buk! Buk!
How long has it been for your life to be like this?
Your weak voice of pleading was ignored and mocked by them.
Buk!
Cough!
Creak!
"Ahh!!"
"Shut up, idiot!"
"Haha, look, crying like a baby."
"A murderer like you is crying? Aww, so pitiful."
Sob.
Never a day where you have not been crying. Never a day your body has no bleeding.
It hurts.
It hurts a lot.
How come it ended up like this when you have lived here without anyone targeting you?
Why are you being the black sheep?
You have done nothing wrong.
So why are they being violent with you?
Why does your life always involve beating?
Buk!
"Tsk, pathetic."
"You would only bring misery to the people around you."
"Let's go; their face make me want to vomit."
You were left barely breathing after that. You can't even move a single muscle to wipe your blood and tears. No one by your side in this place.
It has been black and blue on your skin. You would never get used to this, making it easier to give up.
