The Emperor sighed in relief as the council of Nikea finally ended, he was ready to embark to Terra where his webway project is on the works and the golden throne needed to be fine tuned as Mattheus suggested
But before he could order the ship's captain the coordinates back to Terra, his heightened hearing heard the hurried footsteps of his messenger
Messenger: M'lord! M'lord! A message from Lord Sigilite, he says it's urgent
The messenger puts down a small wooden box that has two acronyms that says TTS-01, TTS-02 and TTS-03. Intrigued, he picked up the slates and observed it with a curious gaze
Hours later, Astropaths contacted most of the primarchs; Magnus the Red, Lorgar Aurelian, Rogal Dorn, Mortarion, Sanguinius, Angron, Jaghatai Khan, Fulgrim, and Horus Lupercal, all had arrived
But he was more surprised that Mattheus left as his schedule for his planet's inspection extended till later, nonetheless he greeted his sons who managed to come by
Big E: I have called you here, my sons because Malcador has delivered a series of holovids to me, that he deemed of utmost importance. And since I will be returning to Terra, I decided that I would make you privy to this last parcel of information. Horus, if you would care to do the honors?
He gestured to Horus, who gladly handed the data slate to one of the few tech-priests remaining in the room. This priest then proceeded to plug the slate into the viewing screen, with a short prayer beseeching the Omnissiah to ensure that the screen's picture was clear

Custodes: I really do hope this works, is everything prepared?
Tech priest: The text-to-speech device has been implemented, Custodian. It appears to be functioning properly... Unlike your feeble flesh

Big E: This can't be correct (thoughts) Even the most conceited of the tech-priests would never speak so condescendingly to Custodes... Something's not right...

Custodes: Most excellent! Our glorious Emperor will be capable of conversin with his loyal subjects once more. And I shall be the first to speak with him... Hhooo... I could just take off my a- NO! No. Calm down, I've restrained myself for a millennia... I will not let this legendary moment to be ruined

Emperor flinched and shuddered at the Custodes' tendency, but that's not what he's concerned about
Big E: (thoughts) "Conversing once more?" What happened?
The Emperor continues to ponder deeply as he watched and observed this holo-video, not noticing that his some of his sons also share the same look of morbid curiosity and asked one thing on their minds
"What happened?"

Custodes: Quiet, you

Big E: I'll tell you later, or maybe your brother Mattheus would explain it
