What Would I Do Without You

ᏟhᎪᏢᏆᎬᏒ ᏆᎳᎬᏞᏉᎬ~He couldn't be a firefighter anymore

Gabby laid on the table, with Matt by her side, as the doctor put the cold gel on her stomach causing shivers to run up her spine. The doctor proceeded to rub the probe on her lower abdomen. Soon a stead thud thud, thud thud, filled the room and smiles spread from ear to ear on Matt and Gabby's face. "Would you like to know the sex?" The doctor asked "wait, how far along am I?" Gabby asked and the doctor replied, "3 months and your baby looks very healthy." "Can we find out at our next appointment?" "Yeah of course." The doctor replied printing out their ultrasound and then wiping off Gabby's stomach.

•Back in Matts hospital room•
    Matt stood up from the wheel chair and went to take the one step to get back to his hospital bed but when he put pressure on his right leg he collapsed back into he chair with a painful groan escaping  his mouth. "Hey, hey, hey" Gabby said panicked as sh watched matt collide with the chair. "Baby are you okay!?" She continued with worry shaking her voice.  "Yeah. I, I am fine." Matt answered and Gabby supported him as he got into the bed. "I am getting nurse." Gabby exclaimed exiting the room before Matt could deny.  Gabby came back followed by a nurse. The nurse asked Matt a series of questions and began to exam Matts leg and hip. The nurse had ordered an x-ray for further examination. The nurse came back with results and informed Matt and Gabby. "When you were stabbed the knife had hit a nerve that went down your right leg and that is causing the collapse when you put pressure on it" the nurse told them. "Is there any way to fix that?" Matt asked panicked "We can't but over time the nerve will fix its self, that could be a few days to even a few years." The nurse replied with compassion.
The next few days Matt didn't really talk to anyone. Gabby knew what he was thinking, 'if his leg didn't work he couldn't be a firefighter anymore.' That was really all he ever wanted and now it was all just slipping away.

Okay so I know u all r probably mad cuz it has been like 10000 years since i last updated but i have been really busy and I didn't really know how to continue the story and I did not have any motivation so if u want me to keep going could u all plzzzzzz comment cuz i really like reading them snd they r my motivation 😉😏😊😝😋okay thx bye
