Dev jerked upwards awkwardly, and almost immediately a scrounging pain struck within his head. He couldn't even see anything, the intensity of the pain shouldered his vision like a massive rock that blocked and blinded. He couldn't tell if he were wearing his sunglasses or not.
"Dev Dimmadome! You have been..-... with..-
..- have been...-
This child is..- for-.. ....- 'ry godparent!"
A loud booming voice echoed through his memory, in an instant sending waves of splintering aches that travelled down his spine, relentlessly vibrating his internal consciousness.
There was not even enough time to be afraid.
What's happening?! But before he could possibly comprehend any additionally, he found himself shooting up from his bed in place, with his sunglasses falling from his face all the way to the floor nearby. He breathed heavily and shakily, peering around his room, particularly thankful his eyesight had resumed, as he grasped his juddering chest with his left hand. Although to his surprise, he lifted his hand back up and found what appeared to be some sort of sparkly ..glitter? Only a tiny amount, just etched across his jacket.
Alarmed, he took a minute to compose himself as he settled his breathing just a bit, laying his head against the hard part of his tall, looming bed frame.
Hastily, he turned back to the sunglasses that were below on the floor, and the more he gazed into them, the more he recognised something was off about them. He were unsure if his eyes were still playing tricks on him, but he could swear he saw a vague trail of smoke coming from the front of them as if they'd been.. in his opinion as he would describe, 'zapped by the sun'.
He rubbed his face nervously with his hands, even gliding one through his hair, which was messy and had curls returning, trying to feel like he was really here, but it didn't feel that way. He felt like a dummy for freaking out, because there was absolutely no reason to? He'd only jolted up with a harsh migraine from his sleep. That was it. Dimmadome's don't panic over small petty things.
With having his breathing returned normal, he got up and bent down to receive his 'smouldering' sunglasses. May as well get this day over with.. is it a school day? Whatever, I can't even remember..
As his fingers merely traced and touched the base of the dark shades, it happened again.
His line of sight was sparked into a spiral and an eery harmful force took over. The straining agony involuntarily made him double over.

Zap! Bam!
With the journey of a flare that spooked and crazed, things were strange and the ensuing commotion he knew, everything was dark again.
Dev fluttered his demi-coloured eyes ajar woozily, finding himself in an irretrievable setting.
Everything had, odd, twinkly tones. The effort to describe it became unbearable as he could still feel the trembling. It was all faded, and rough. He could see he were a top of some kind of throne. Maybe.. it feels.. it feels as though I'm living in a memory. But.. what? When?
His leering gaze automatically lifted without warning, and he registered the memory, only this time he wasn't wearing his black glasses and his view landed directly in the eyes of her. Two deep, troubled hazel-red eyes surveyed him with clear disappointment.
"Come to gloat? Yay, you win." The words lolled out of his mouth uncontrollably. Yep, it's definitely a memory.. I can.. remember.. I- I don't want to see this..
