The Race Worth the Running

A new life begun since you've heard God's calling.

You found your self living a life that's worth the living.

You forsook your homes, your dreams, and dear-ones

To run the race to what God had planned.

Fellow believers, your race has only just begun.

So keep on running don't you quit, just run!

You're still too far from the race's final mile,

Not even on the half-way-- but still smile...

If you're faint, then have rest then go on,

Than to stop and vanish on the break of dawn.

Just think of the Saviour Who bore the cross,

Suffered the pain so we could not be lost.

Are you still yearning for the life of strife?

Friend, you're already on God's will-- a victorious life!

So why not settle for things those are best

and not for things you know you'll soon regret...
