Chapter 13

"Hey hey" Asami's voice softened. She took the woman's face in her hand "look at me" she asked of her and Korra did "I'm yours" she spoke getting her attention "in this moment, I'm all yours"

"Asami, I don't just want a moment" Korra started, Asami could hear the emotion in her voice "I-I want everyday with you"

Asami's heart raced at her words. She didn't think for a second before taking Korra into her arms holding her in a tight hug. Korra held her back tighter.

Asami knew Korra was still drunk. But something her father always said was 'a drunk man's words is a sober man's thoughts' maybe Korra did have feelings for her.

"Korra"

"Asami, I want be with you" Korra looked into her eyes

"Korra, you don't mean that, you're drunk"

"I do mean it" Korra argued "I never wanted anything more in my life" Korra confessed

"But Mako..." Asami couldn't finish her sentence. She noticed Korra's mood change. Korra released the girl and sat on the edge of her bed.

"He doesn't deserve you" Korra said coldly

"Why do you say that" Asami reached for Korra's back caressing it

"I bet I know you better than he does... heck I better you know me better than you know him" Korra claimed

Out of no where Korra's phone was ringing.

"Who's House Wife?" Asami asked reading the contact name of the person trying to FaceTime her

"It's Bolin" She grabbed the phone

"Why do you have him under that?" Asami laughed

"It's an insider" Korra smiled answering the phone incase it was an emergency. "Everything alright?" She asked

"Hey, yeah, I'm at Opal's, did you make it home?"

"Yeah, I'm home" Korra smiled seeing that the boy cared for her

"Good good, are you ok being by yourself?"

"Yes Bo"

"You sure?"

"Yes, I'm fine Bo"

"Ok, I'll be back in the morning to make you breakfast" he said

"Alright"

"Hey Korra?"

"Yes Bo?"

"Thank you"

"For what?"

"Everything, who knows what would've happened if you didn't come home" he said

Korra then entered a deep thought. Everything she does is because of Bolin. No one knows but her. It's way Bolin cares for Korra.

"I wish I came home sooner" Her voice cracked and Asami noticed it

"Hey, you came home though" He smiled "and now I have the best roommate ever, who just so happens to be my hard working husband" He laughed earning Korra's laugh too

"And I ended up with lovely house wife" she laughed as they joked around

"Alright I'll let you go then, night Night Kor"

"Night Bo" they hung up

Asami noticed the girl sigh in content. "Can I ask" she started "what's with you guys' nicknames" she chuckled

"Well, it's just what we are, I work and bring home the bacon, and he stays home cooking and cleaning" Korra laughed "so that's why I call him house wife"
