Friend?

Rin walked down the school hallway heading to cram school.

"Fucking Yukio keeping me up doing homework!" Rin yawns, "I'm so damn tired.

He rubs his eyed and waits a moment outside the door making he sure he looks fine before opening the door.

"Morning everyone." Rin said

Everyone kept there heads facing the board or ignoring him.

"Assholes." Rin whispered to himself.

Shima got up and stood infron of Rin.

"Hey okumura! Hows it going?" Asked Shima

"Meh, no one seems to like talking to me!" Rin said loudly making sure everyone heard.

Everyone still ignored him and Bon gave out a pity laugh.

"Don't worry about them. They are all pretty quiet and stuck up." Shima explained, "Come on. Come sit with me and we will keep talking. This class is boring anyways.

Rin followed Shima and sat next to him quietly.

'He's being so nice ' Rin thought,
'But why??'

Shima sat surprisingly close to rin making rin feel a little weirded out.

Yukio walked into the room and everyone except for Shima and Rin stopped talking and looked at him.

"Ahem, Rin stop talking to your boyfriends and please start paying attention.

Both Shima and Rin blushed a deep pink.

"H-hes not my boyfriend!" Both of then yelled.

Everyone quietly laughed and looked at them.

"Pink and blue make purple." Izumo said, "I think."

Shima walked out the room awkwardly laughing.

"Fuck you guys." He said as he closed the door.

Rin shortly followed not being able to stand the embarrassment.

He walked around and found Shima in the empty lunch room reading a dirty manga.

He sat down infront of him and blushed lightly.

"What are you reading?" He asked almost laughing.

Shima quickly hid the manga and looked down embarrassed.

"Nothing" he said laughing.

They both looked at each other and Rin got up to buy a bag of chips.

"You want some?" He asked braking the awkward silence.

Shima grabbed the chip and eat it not saying anything.

"So how's it been." Shima said looking at Rin.

Rin suddenly noticed he was looking at him and started panicking.

"Uh-um good and you. " He said almost sweating.

"Just peachy." Shima said.

The slowly got awkward again and sat there not knowing what to say.

"You want to go hang out or something?" Shima said braking the silence.

"S-sure, But where do we go during school?" Rin asked quickly.

"We can sneak out and get ice cream." Shima suggested.

'Leave class? I'll get yelled at by Yukio.' Rin thought 'but an icepop does sound good right now'

"O what the Gehenna" Rin yelled. "Let's go!"

They both ran off and looked outside making sure no one was there. After making sure they made a run for it and found the closest ice cream shop.

"I'll take one blue icepop." Rin said smiling like a little kid.

"And I'll take a a vanilla ice cream cone." Shima ordered .

Rin started pulling out money to pay for his icepop. Shima stopped him.

"Its on me." He said paying for both of them.

Rin lightly blushed .

"Thank you Shima." He said quietly.

They both eat there food and talked for an hour.

"Its time for me to head out." Rin said disappointed. "Yukio is probably looking for me.

"Okay well I'll see you tommorow." Shima said showing a little disappointed.

Rin started walking out the door and stopped looking at Shima.

"Friends?" He asked with a smile

"Friends." Shima laughed looking at Rin.

Rin walked out and started running .

"Friends" he whispered to himself as he ran home.
