32.Why is it the same?

"Let us search for the source of the illusion. I am sure if we can find the source we will find the clue of where the flower disappeared." YiJun said thinking about what they have seen earlier.

"So you mean that flower was real?" Ming Yue asked him with interest.

"Yes that is real flower, it is somewhere near therefore the illusion could blend with the background of this mountain perfectly. The coin I threw was just my instinctive measure for testing the traps. I didn't expect that it would disappear." YiJun was trying to figure out things in mind.

"But to search for the source we need to separate. It will be faster that way." YiJun continued.

When Ming Yue heard about getting separated suddenly her stomach gave a flip. For some reason she had a bad feeling about this. But she understood they didn't have time to waste.

YiJun too understood her fears but there was no choice.

"Keep the sword with you all the time, the sword is like having me around you. You may feel the pull like before but as you have managed to channelize your power once it will not be a problem now. If you do find a problem just call me." YiJun explained carefully.

"Okay, you take care" after saying this, they both released each other's hand at the same time. They both felt uncomfortable. They quickly tried to channelize their inner power, this time Ming Yue managed without a problem.

"Is it okay?" YiJun asked worried.

"Yes, its fine this time. You are quick." Ming Yue complimented him.

He raised an eyebrow but smiled widely. "Let's us go then you search here I will search the opposite way. If you feel I am not reachable even if you can see me than you have 'heart-connect token' with you." YiJun reminded her.

Ming Yue nodded and asked, "What should I search for?"

"Right, I forgot to mention that. Just any opening or a source of mechanism or even a small puddle, anything you find unusual and shouldn't be in place like this. If you find something unusual you will come to know instinctively. I trust you." YiJun said proudly.

Ming Yue saw that again, she doesn't know why this guy is always more proud then her own brother and cousin when it comes to her abilities.

"Okay, take care" said Ming Yue.

YiJun gave her a water bottle and said, "Take this, and you take care too."

Ming Yue took the bottle from him and YiJun turned his back to go in the opposite direction.

Ming Yue started slowly walking towards the place where the coin disappeared. When she came nearer she could not see anything, she didn't dare to move forward instead she moved sideways keeping her distance. After walking a few steps to her surprise she could see the same flower again.

"What is this? Is the flower playing hide and seek with us?" Ming Yue said to herself. But this time she didn't act rashly instead she went back to the previous position; there she could see there was no flower.

"This is weird, should I call buddy?" she thought of calling him but decided against it. She moved to the side where she saw the flower a few moments ago, then walked a little further, again the flower disappeared; like this she walked half a circle. She could see the flower thrice.

She didn't continue further instead she came back to her original position and started in other direction. Like before she could see the flower thrice. But for some reason she was scared to complete the circle. Somehow she had a feeling that she can find the flower if she completed the circle but she felt that it was a risky move.

On the other side YiJun was walking looking very carefully within his site. After careful observation he felt that this side of the peak of the mountain is exactly the same as the side where he left Ming Yue.

"What is this, a mirror effect?" YiJun thought to himself. There must be some mechanism to this. Where is the source of it? He was thinking very hard.

Then he remembered the coin that disappeared; he roughly measured the distance and stood at the position near to where his coin has gone the other side.

Like Ming Yue he too started walking along the edges, like her he too could see the flower and it was gone after he walked a few steps. He also completed a half circle but instead of going back to his original position like Ming Yue he went further exactly opposite to the position where the coin disappeared.

He had no problem going there, fortunately there was no trap instead he could see some small rocks. Those rocks looked like they are not supposed to be at that place. He thought for a while and brought his sword forward. With a swift move he separated the three rocks that seemed cuddling together.

Nothing happened. He was sure something should happen but nothing happened and then suddenly his heart gave a jolt. Ming Yue has pressed the "heart-connect" token. When he looked at the opposite direction he couldn't see Ming Yue. Where was he? When he came to this side he could still see her but now he couldn't. What has happened?

His heart was racing fast, "Was Ming Yue in trouble?"he thought nervously.
