No Strings Attached

Chapter 9

"Shut up" Korra said.

As the clerk was scanning their items she stared at Korra. Kai help bag the items and looked over to Korra who was pulling out her wallet to pay. He noticed the girl looking at his friend checking her out. He noticed how a button was undone showing off her cleavage. He remembered the shirt was buttoned to the top.

Korra swiped her card to pay. He saw how the girl was trying to get Korra's attention. Part of him wanted to laugh out loud at Korra's blindness.

"Would you like a receipt?" She asked Korra.

This time Korra looked at the girl, her eyes looked down for a split second seeing the woman's cleavage. Korra looked back up at the girl's eyes and cleared her throat "sure" she simply replied with a smile

The girl took the printed receipt and took a pen and wrote on it. She then passed it to Korra "that's my number, if you ever wanna chat...or something"

"Oh, um thanks...?" Korra walked away with Kai following behind her.

Kai notice the girl rip a small piece of the receipt and threw it out as they passed a trash can. She threw out the girl's number.

She must really like this Asami girl Kai thought

—that night—

Korra made it to Asami's estate with a bag of take out. Asami opened the door holding two towels in her hands making Korra confused as she walked in. "Whatcha got there?" Korra asked

"You'll see, follow me" Asami said walking through the estate towards the back.

Korra didn't question anything, not even why Asami was in her silk robe. She just followed Asami.

They made it to the backyard, Korra found a large swimming pool and a jacuzzi next to it. The yard was lit with hanging lights. There was also privacy since her estate had a large gate the wrapped the property and where the pool was there was a garden that had tall hedges adding onto the privacy.

Korra watched as the woman placed the towels on a chair and walked up the steps to get to the jacuzzi. Once her feet were in the hot water, she removed her robe revealing her naked body.

Korra's eyes widened at the sight as Asami took a seat in the jacuzzi "you coming in or what?"

The blue eyed woman was brought back to reality. She put the food down on the brim of the jacuzzi so they can enjoy a meal while relaxing.

Korra stripped down to nothing and joined Asami. Asami took out a remote that was next to the jacuzzi and pressed a button. A projector turned on facing the hedges while a white film scenes unrolled. "What do you wanna watch?" Asami asked

This was the dream. Jacuzzi, movie, food and naked. Could it get any better than this.

They picked a movie after decided on watching a comedy. Asami looked over at Korra who was taking out the food. She opened everything and passed Asami a fork. She noticed green eyes staring at her "what?" Korra questioned with a smile

"Nothing" Asami smiled and planted a kiss on Korra's lips "thank you"

"For what?"

"For everything you do"

The two enjoyed their night watching movie as they ate.

After the movie ended the two stayed in the water and talked for a while.

"Hey, what are you doing tomorrow?" Korra asked

"Well, I have a couple of meeting to go to in the morning, then i have lunch plans with my father and I have made some late plans" Asami thought about it

"Meetings? On a Saturday morning?" Korra questioned since the company was closed on Saturdays

"Work never stops for me" Asami sighed "anyway, why'd you ask?"

"Oh it's nothing" Korra said. 'I can't tell her that I want her to meet my friends, we're not even girlfriends... we're just fuck buddies...that hangout regularly, and kiss whenever, and cuddle and do couplely things........how are we still fuck buddies?' Korra thought

"What are you thinking about?"

"Nothing, it's stupid" Korra said clearing her throat "actually... can I ask, what are we?"

Asami stayed silent trying to figure out an answer "well, um.. I thought we disclosed that in the beginning"

"Do you really still think that?"

"Where is this coming from?" Asami ask avoiding the question

"Well, you know, we haven't been acting on our sexual relationship and we've just been hanging out and sharing memorable moments...I thought... I don't know know what I thought" Korra tried to laugh "I'm going to stop talking now" she continued to hide behind a chuckle

Korra started to clean up after them throwing out all the trash in the bag. She got out of the water and grabbed a towel.

"Are you leaving?" Asami asked as she stood up to get out the water

"Y-yea, I have to be up early" Korra said drying herself off then started to dress herself. "Anyway, I'll see you at work" Korra said leaving
