Day after day became the same routine. Get up, go to school, tell Debby all about the day before at lunch, more class, and then play some music with Tyler after school. The only thing that had changed, was some texting thrown in the mix. Josh could feel himself developing a crush on Tyler but he knew he shouldn't.

Tyler on the other hand, had been crushing on Josh for a while now. He has passed him in the hallways quite a few times and always thought he was cute. Tyler loved his style, loved how Josh always dyed his hair different colors, loved his piercings. He had also passed by the music room a few times and heard Josh playing. Although Tyler was popular, and confident, he never worked up the courage to approach Josh himself, only gave him little glances when he thought Josh wasn't looking at lunch.

Obviously Tyler's friends would notice, and would tease him every chance he got, which included whispering in the halls whenever Josh would pass by as well. They tried to convince Tyler a few times to approach him, but he always waved them off, saying Josh was probably straight anyways.

That's why, the day Tyler acknowledged Josh in the lunch room, Jenna came rushing over to his side immediately. Today was another day Jenna rushed over to him, once she heard they had been texting.

"Sooo a little birdy told me you've been texting your little punk boyfriend" she nudged Tyler's side teasingly.

"Not my boyfriend, I don't even know if he swings that way, but yeah I gave him my number" Tyler smiled at the thought.

His friends all gave each other knowing glances and went back to their conversations.

"Well I'm gonna go talk to him!" Jenna exclaimed, running off before Tyler even had the chance to respond.

Jenna sat down next to Debby, so she could look directly at Josh and rested her head on her hands.

"Hi there! Josh, right?" she spoke, making Debby stop her rambling and Josh look up in shock.

He nodded at Jenna, still confused as to why she was sitting at their table.

"Just thought I'd come over and introduce myself to the person getting so much of Tyler's attention these days, I'm Jenna" she said teasingly, reaching her hand out for Josh to shake. He shook her hand, still slightly confused as to why Jenna was here.

"Well, I'll get back to them, but don't break his heart or else!" Jenna giggled getting up from her seat and basically skipping back to Tyler's side. Debby couldn't help but laugh and Josh was still confused.

"What was that about?"

"Obviously he's been talking about you! And 'dont break his heart'? C'mon! He's totally into you"

This led Josh to basically choke on his food yet again and shake his head.

"No no no you're overthinking it. Yeah he's gay but he wouldn't be into me of all people"

"Keep telling yourself that Joshie, keep telling yourself that"

The music room was quiet when Josh got there. For once he had gotten there before Tyler and for a second thought maybe he wasn't showing up. Tyler then walked through the doors, holding a bag of Taco Bell.

"Surprise!"

Josh smiled as Tyler passed him a taco and they sat side by side eating in silence. Josh couldn't stop thinking about what Debby said when Jenna left earlier. There was no way he would have a chance with Tyler Joseph. Sure, Josh may have had a small crush on him back in middle school, but he assumed Tyler was straight and let it go. He always found Tyler to be cute and charming. Tyler was also a super talented basketball player and always had girls swooning over him.

Now, seeing Tyler shove a chalupa down his throat with his ukulele thrown across his lap, Josh was starting to look at him adoringly. There were so many things people didn't know about Tyler, things that Josh was slowly learning in their time together. It made Tyler even more attractive to Josh.

"Ty, I knew you had some hidden talents but I didn't realize eating 2 chalupas in under a minute would be one of them" Josh said, holding back a laugh as Tyler stared back with lettuce still falling out of his mouth.

Tyler smacked Josh's shoulder and stood up, tossing his garbage away before finding his way to the piano.

"I've been working on something new, wanna hear?"

Josh only nodded in response, turning to face the boy while still seated on the ground.

"You are formidable to me
'Cause you seem to know it, where you wanna go
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll follow you
But you should know I might be cynical towards you
But I just can't believe that I'm for you
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I can die with you
Just let me know (yeah)
And I know that we just met
But could you take me everywhere you've ever been?
I wanna see it all, no surprises, yeah"

Josh kept his eyes trained on Tyler as he continued his song, not daring to look away. Tyler's voice was just mesmerizing, and Josh couldn't help but smile every time he heard it. The more time Josh spent with Tyler, the harder it was to resist him. He was just so perfect to him. Josh snapped out of his thoughts when he noticed Tyler had stopped playing, and the boy was now staring at Josh shyly, looking for approval.

" That was...amazing Ty. You're amazing"

Tyler had blushed slightly but hoped the terrible lighting in the room was enough to hide it from Josh's view. They continued to do what they did everyday, play music together and chat through the breaks.

" I could get used to this..." Tyler whispered to himself, glancing over at the boy seated across the room who was sipping from his water bottle.

" Yeah, I could definitely get used to this"
