Numberblocks burn easy, so always ensure that you leave them in for as long as the recipe says, and never longer. They are safe to eat raw, but they don't taste as good as they do cooked. A part of preparing any meal, with or without the use of numberblocks, is that you clean all surfaces you will using, washing you hands and keeping hair tied up to ensure food is not contaminated or has stuff in it. Numberblocks are also hard to catch when you first begin, but as you progress, catching numberblocks will become much easier! A key thing to note is, as they are found in the wild, it's important to wash them. We'd suggest putting them in a sieve and running them under a tap in cold water, but swirling them around in ice water also helps. Happy numberblock-cooking!
