Prologue

DIAMOND

"Get the hell up!" My mother said as I rolled over. She started punching me as I blocked my face. Knowing she was already high.

I fell off the bed.

"Get ready for school hoe." She said as she slamed the door in my face. I looked at the time on the wall and seen it was 4:47am. As I grunted. I grabbed a towel and a rag as I got in the shower.

I got out and wrapped the towel around me. I went back in my room and locked the door as I put on a bra and underwear. I went in my dresser and pulled out some Jeans and A black T-shirt with some black converses. Kinda looked beat up but still useful.

I looked in the mirror I twisted the sides of my hair and out it in a bun. I looked at the time it was 5:52am time for me to catch the bus. I walked out into the living room where I seen my mother giving head. She use to be so different.

After my father died she went crazy and started doing drugs and sold my clothes and furniture til she started sucking dick and having sex for money.

I walked out the door down the street til I went to the stop sign with my best friend kinda like a brother Markel.

"Hey Kel." I said as I waved.

"Hey Diamond." He nodded. "I got some for you."

He handed me 35 dollars.

"No I cant take-"

"I know how it is under your roof just take it." He said. I sighed.

As I took it I stuffed it inside my pocket.

The bus came. As me and Markel got on. I sat in the way back with him. I looked out the window as I seen boys on the corner and girls walking around in barley nothing.

I haad morals I couldn't possibly do anything like that.

We soon later pulled inside the school. I got off the bus as I met with my best friend Kyla I call her Ky.

"Hey." She said. As Markel walked on the otherside of us.

"Damn shawty bad." Markel said pointing at the new girl Miracle.

"Thats that new girl Miracle." I said.

"Her ass is a Miracle." He said.

"Umm yeah whatever you go handle that and we will see you in class ight." I said.

"Cool." As he walked over there tryna spit game. As Ky took my hand and took me in the crowded hallway. As we walked to the lockers as I seen Nicki. She was very popular around here. In senior year. I might be young to be a senior but I was enrolled in school at 4 with Ky.

Kyla was just 17 also our mothers USED to be best friends.
So thats why me and her are so close now.

As Nicki came over here with her five followers.

"Awww look at the broke bitch." She said as they laughed at me.

"Nicki ian with yo bullshit today." Kyla said sticking up for me as I hung my head in shame. Nicki raised my head with the tip of her acrylic nail.

"Don't cry baby....Everyone wishes they were me. Your name says Diamond but your just Coal." She said. As she walked off laughing.

I closed my locker and ran in the bathroom and locked the stall. As I sat on the toliet seat.

I started crying. Why was my life like this I never did shit to nobody.

As Kyla came in. I thought I locked it when I came in.
