Chapter 6

"Oh wow, and how long have you known her?"

"Not long enough personally" Korra put her hands up "it's only been days"

"So you know nothing about her?"

"Well now I kinda do, cause I told her that 'I'm not comfortable with continuing this kind of relationship if I don't know you'"

"Wait, why don't you want to be in a relationship?"

"Well, my ex cheated on me while I was away in the army and he said the only reason why he cheated was because he assumed I was" Korra confessed

"What? What made him think that?"

"Well, his best friend joined the army with me, and he was telling him the I was sleeping with other guys and making up all these lies" Korra crossed her arms and rolled her eyes "but he did all that so my ex would dump me. Why? I don't know"

"Yikes, well at least he's out of the picture"

"Not really, my best friend who is also my roommate is my ex's little brother"

"Woah, you have a one of a kind life" Kuvira said and they started laughing

"Anyways, what about you? Anyone you got eyes on?" Korra was tired of talking about her life

"Not really, I have crushes but never made moves, I just don't have the time for a relationship" Kuvira said

They continued talking for hours that the bar even closed. They walked out and Korra took Kuvira back to her car. She then went home at 3 in the morning.

Korra went straight to sleep.

Korra woke up and got ready for work, she took the lunch Bolin let in the fridge for her and then left.

She parked her car and headed for the building.

Korra noticed Opal standing outside in front talking to two guys. As Korra walked passed, one of them spoke to her.

"Hey, you Sasie?" She heard the name she thought she would never hear again.

She turned around seeing the 2 guy were twins.

"Yo, it is Sasie" the other guy said and they got close to Korra

"My name's Korra, not Sasie" Korra kept a straight face and her demeanor changed, she was on guard.

"No I remember you Sasie" the first guy spoke "you think we'll ever forget you after what you did? You in the wrong side of town"

"Guys, leave her alone, her name's Korra, shes a coworker and she's my friend" Opal stood between Korra and the twins "Korra these are my brothers Wei and Wing"

"I have to go" Korra said walking away

Opal looked at her brothers "what is wrong with you two?" She rubbed her head in frustration then noticed Asami making her away over "guys that's my boss, please act normal"

"Goodmorning Opal" Asami said as she was walking pass

"Goodmorning Ms. Sato" Opal said

"Hey, Ms. Sato, you have a sec?" Wei called Asami over

"Can it be quick?" Asami said checking her watch

"That girl what's her name?" He looked at Opal for an answer

"Korra?"

"Yes Korra, you might want to reconsider giving her this nice job" He said

"What makes you say that?" Asami asked

"I just hope you did a background check on her" Wing said

"Guys stop, why are you guys so invested on this girl?" Opal asked

"Shut up Opal, you don't get it, she's dangerous, and if she's going to be working her I request you look for another job" Wei said walking away with his twin

Opal kept putting everything together

"What's their problem?" Asami noticed the disbelief in Opal's eyes

"They joined a triad really young when they were in High school. They've just been over protective of me."

"Ok, but what does that have to do with anything?" Asami asked

"I-I think Korra's in a triad"
