Demons of the Heart

The intro

At a very young age, prince Jaden's life was steeped in the lush opulence of royalty. As the sole heir the kingdom of Eldoria, he was the apple of his parents' eyes, showered with affection and lavish gifts that he scarcely understood the value of. Every birthday party was a grand affair, every holiday a testament to his parent's desire to indulge their only child the "perfect golden child" they often called him. This life of privilege allowed him to traverse his childhood without the weight of responsibility, wrapped in comfort and adoration. On one fateful day, as he celebrated his sixth birthday the opulence of his surroundings reached an enchanting peak. His parents presented him with a gift that would change the dynamics of the castle- a tiny, whiskered bundle of joy named Nala, a baby cat, with bright green eyes that sparkled with mischief. Yet the gifts didn't end there, they also introduced him to a little incubus on a chain named Aiden. A child much unlike Jaden himself. Aiden was a whirl wind of energy, constantly buzzing about, his voice a cheerful melody of chatter that echoed through the castle halls. Where Jaden was calm and collected, Aiden embodied chaos, seemingly filling   the silence that often surrounded the prince as he played with Nala. The castle staff soon came to know Aiden not just as the princes Incubus companion but as a vibrant force of nature whose antics provided both amusement and expression. Despite their contrasting personality's, Jaden found sonance in Aidens exuberance it served as an antidote to the tedium of royal expectations that loomed over him. As years passed in this bubble of happiness, but the day came when Jaden turned 18 and the king asked Jaden to choose his future queen from a host of elidable princesses. However, as he gazed at the bejeweled faces of the young lady's presented before him, prince Jaden felt a flicker of indifference. None of them captured his heart pulling him into a whirlwind of royal duty and expectation, leaving him longing for the simpler joys of friendship and chaos that Aiden and Nala brought into his life.
