Story starts off with Astro in a cell. Good? Good.
The cell door opens, showing the empty abyss-like interior within. The guards use their Solar energy to conjure up torch, revealing a boy with voidic purple eyes that are dull, battle scars all over his body, and a skinny lean physique, deprived of any sustenance and chained with the brim with energy absorbers.
"Agh! The light!" He says with a raspy voice, "Take it off-" SMACK! He's knocked out, giving the guards an opportunity to take the chains off him and revel in how potent the energy is.
"Samuel, check it out, this dispenser's released about enough Void energy to keep our prison and prisoners in check for an eternity, haha!" His friend then takes the chains and proceeds to put them in his large suitcase.
"Okay, Frank, now let's go- guh!" His throat was immediately silenced as Astro replaces it with his fist, causing the other guy to panic and kick Astro away.
As Astro's pushed away and wheezing out blood, Frank quickly pumps Samuel with Solar energy that was swiftly fleeting from him, resurrecting him and supercharging his body.
"Thanks, mate, the bastard almost got me, but I'll end this now. I wanna try out a little boxing on him since I'm joining that tournament, remember?" Samuel takes a boxing stance imitating Thomas "The Hitman" Hearn's.
Frank chuckles. "Right, don't kill him, alright? We still need him for energy."
Astro, understanding the situation, weakly takes up a boxing stance resembling the peakaboo style, as if he's ready to rush in and counter.
Samuel, seeing this, grows a bit enraged and throws a fast flicker jab, meant to quickly knock him out, but instead, it's gets slipped. As Astro tries to rush in though, Samuel uses his now extended fist to rabbit punch Astro, knocking him out and unknowingly killing him.
"Tsk, you think you can step in close and end it? You're short out of luck, kid." Samuel says coldly, while Franks watches, a bit shocked, but shortly regains his composure.
"You let me get way too close if he was able to slip like that, you're gonna need to work on that if we're to win that tournament, Sam."
Samuel spits on the filthy rusted floor next to the now dead Astro. "Whatever, let's just go and return these chains to the Warden."
"Roger that."
They leave and then return to the Warden with the chains of suppression.

The door knocks. "Enter." Said a man with a scar over his right eye and a cigar in his mouth. He takes it out to speak. "Hand it over."
As he receives the chains, he looks it over. "This is enough to last us a life time when it comes tio supressing all the inmates in our prison." Samuel and Frank look at each other and nod.
"Speaking of that, I actually wanted to talk to you about the upcoming tournament tomorrow. I had thought of the idea of rallying up all our prisoners and getting them to fight each other in a giant slugfest. What do ya'll think?"
Frank answers. "I like the idea, getting them to fight until the number reaches down to what we're comfortable with in order to begin the tournament."
Samuel chimes in. "Are we doing this for reputation points or something? Are we gonna invite the wealthiest and most important people in the world watch, bet, and sponsor us? Are we gonna get fucking rich!?" Samuel's enthusiasm causes his Solar energy to rise, causing the Warden to do the same and burn up the room.
The Warden laughs and smiles at his enthusiasm and cheers him on. "Oh yes, my dear boy, we're gonna make all our dangerous and most wanted assailants fight to the death for our satisfaction, their possible freedom, and for the benefit of others."
Samuel asks a simple question, "What if the Prisoners win?"
Frank answers quickly and adamantly. "They won't-"
Samuel speaks again. "IF!?"
A sweat drops from Frank, with him being slightly scared of Samuel right about now. "Then you can-"
"Kill them. Make them bleed and perish, if you will. As long as we get our results, you can do whatever you want to them." The two look at the Warden, with Samuel smiling.
"Thank you, General Koffmann."
The Warden, now known as General Koffmann, nods and turns his chair back around. "Now leave. I need to smoke again to de-stress from conversing with you two gay rats."
They quickly leave as the room temperature goes over 100 degrees from his smoking and rage.

About 16 hours later, the light from Astro's eyes that vanished all that time ago, soon came back to him, regaining their voidic purple hue and signifying his reawakening from death.
