Chapter 1

Korra smirked at the suggestion "I'll think about it"

"Find me before you go" she winked and when the elevator doors opened she walked out.

It was now Zhu Li and Korra in the elevator "well, you met Ginger, she's a bit of a flirt, there's a couple of flirts here actually, just watch yourself" she said "you know if you get the job"

They made it to the floor which was a long hall, there were two doors, one to the left and one to the right, facing each other. Zhu Li knocked on the door to the right, the door was labeled as 'CEO'. Zhu Li popped her head in "Korra's here for her interview"

"Right, please let her in" Hiroshi said. Korra walked in finding a man closing his laptop. Zhu li left the room too. "Please have a seat" he gestured to the chair across from him.

Korra took a seat as Hiroshi went through his files. He found a folder and took out a paper. It was Korra's information.

"Alright Ms. Sasaki, I see you don't have much work experience, it just says you were in the military for 6 years" He read off her file. "I'm not going to go so deep into this like I normally do, you're not doing customer service anyways besides, I like how you were already in the field of the laws" he was quiet for a second "and I'm pretty sure know how to work a gun"

"Yes sir"

"Personally I don't see why I shouldn't hire you for security, it's not like you need personality" he chuckled to himself "so, how do you want your schedule to work? Are you flexible?"

"I can work whatever hours you need me to work" Korra said

"Alright, I like that" he said "how do you feel about pulling double shifts to cover for someone"

"As long as I know 2 days prier it should be fine"

"Great, I'll have Zhu Li take you for a tour and have to meet the head of security today, and by tonight or somewhere tomorrow you'll receive an email about your schedule"

"Ok great, thank you" Korra smiled. This was a very easy interview, mainly cause he did the talking and figured it out on his own

Zhu li took Korra around for a tour then took her to meet the head of security.

"Kuvira, this is Korra, she will be part of the security team, Korra this is Kuvira, she the head of security" Zhu li informed

"Nice to meet you" Kuvira said "do you have a schedule yet?"

"No, I should get it between today and tomorrow" Korra said "I'm just going over the basics today"

"Sounds good" Kuvira said.

Kuvira told Korra what her job was.
4 security guards worked at the front desk, 20 did portal around the buildings, 4 were in charge of security cameras. And some would be called to be taken for events. The positions would be moved around changing between people.

"When you get your weekly schedule it should tell you what position you'll be working" Kuvira informed "today you get your uniform so make sure you bring it your first day, and when you come in you let Zhu Li know, she'll give you a badge" Kuvira took out her own to show Korra what it looks like "this would give you access to all the buildings that has to do with future industries"

"Got it" Korra nodded

"In the back of the security room there a locker room, you'll have your own locker, just bring your own lock. And on your first day I'll give you your belt" Kuvira pointed at hers "it will be equipped with your fire arm, a taser, pepper spray, a radio, hand cuffs and a small set of keys to some meeting rooms and different things, the keys will have labels on it. Belt stays in your locker at the end of your shift. I will be checking belts to make sure everything is there before you lock it away, and that concludes everything, welcome to the team, any questions?"

"No I think I'm good thanks"

Kuvira escorted Korra towards the exit. They said their goodbyes. On Korra way out someone made their way in, she was tall, jet black hair and golden green eyes, she wore a black tight pencil skirt and white button up.

They made eye contact for split second as they passed each other. Korra turned her head to do a double take only to find that the woman did one too making them smile at each other. 

Korra turned back around and continued walking to the exit leaving the building. She got in her car and headed back home to Bolin who was on the phone.

Korra put down her stuff and looked over at the stuff seeing Bolin finished up dinner. Spaghetti and meatballs.

"Ok great, I'll see you then, thank you" Bolin was cheesing at the phone then hung up

"You seem happy" Korra said as she took a piece of pasta from the pot and ate it "what was the call about?" she was about go in the pot again till her hand got smacked by a serving spoon "hey!"

"Stop putting your dirty ass fingers in the food, now go wash your hands and I'll serve you a plate" he argued making Korra sigh with an eye roll on her way to the sink

Korra then joined Bolin at the table "so are you going to tell me what happened on the phone?"

"Oh right! I got an audition tomorrow" Bolin said with a smile

"Oh yeah, what's the role?"

"So I get to audition for two parts technically the guy is this detective that gets a case study on missing people only to be token off the case because his twin brother is a suspect because his a doctor at the hospital where these bodies were last seen. So this doctor is actually a psycho, he runs this secret underground operation, he kidnaps the patients who are unclaimed by families and uses them to make extra cash, he also sleeps with a nurse who helps him. And the detective still tries to work on the case to see if his brother is clean or not, but then what happens in the end is the doctor kills the detective and he switched positions with his brother framing him and he continues life as a detective in his brothers place"
(A/N: this isn't a real movie, I think, but if a movie like this come out, I thought of it first and yall are my witnesses💀)

"I would so watch that movie" Korra said

"Really?!"

"Yea... if you didn't tell me the whole damn movie" she said obviously being sarcastic the first time. She got up putting her plate in the sink

"Sorry" he chuckled nervously as Korra started putting the left overs away

"Anyways, we should go out and celebrate" Korra suggested "you know, since you got an audition and I got the job"

"YOU DID?!" Bolin was happy for his friend "that's great!" He got up putting his plate in the sink and Korra started washing

"Yeah, so start getting ready so we can go have some fun" Korra said a laughed when the boy sprinted out the kitchen.
