Malora Greco has always been teetering on the edge of madness. Now that she goes back into the Labyrinth, it is inevitable that she will slip in one direction or another.
MALORA GRECO HAD ALWAYS KNOWN who she was. She was a demigod: half mortal, half god. She was the daughter of Madness. The daughter of Greek god Dionysus and mortal singer and celebrity Evangeline Greco. She was also the little girl that worried mothers told their children to stay away from. Malora was different, even for demigod standards. Not because she tried hard to be better, just because she was off-putting, weird. The mad little girl next door, so to speak.
MALORA HAD ALWAYS BEEN FASCINATED by insanity, its concept, how it worked, how it came to be. When she got the chance to study the epitome of madness, the Labyrinth of Daedalus, she was keen to agree. No matter how dangerous it would be, she knew this was something she needed to do.
MALORA GRECO KNEW WHO SHE was, despite hiding essential parts of her identity. She knew who she was, despite not quite at terms with herself. She knew who she was but couldn't be. She also knew that there were bigger issues to think about. She was tired of being on the sidelines. She wanted to help more, to make a real difference. But there was a part of her that wanted to show everyone else who she really was.
