it was a sunny morning in Atlanta, a normal day which started with nothing that seemed out of the ordinary.
Slowly, yet aggressively, the blinding rays of sunlight reached their yearning arms through the blinds. She woke with a start.
"Gee," she mumbled, rubbing her eyes. "Why is it always so sunny in the morning?!" Before attempting to lift herself out of bed, cautious to avoid the obnoxiously bright rays cast over her bed.
Her wardrobe sat by the left-side of the room, most of the contents scattered across the floor, without pattern or attempt to organise. Despite this, she managed to quickly assemble an outfit which perfectly encapsulated how she felt that day. Adorned in a navy green top, black tights, mini heel boots and a small black bag, delicately strung by a dazzling gold chain, she made her way downstairs.
Without thinking, as if by muscle memory she grabbed a cup and heated the water for a much-needed coffee when she stopped, almost tripping over her own feet. "Huh, where's the coffee? Looks like I'll have to go and buy some more!" She exclaimed, searching her bag frantically for her wallet and keys. Unlocking the door she triple checks that she definitely locked the door behind her before swiftly leaving to her nearest Walmart.
It was a brief 15 minutes before she arrived, though she hadn't realised as she had been contently lost in her playlist. "Might as well grab a cart," she thought, "knowing me, I'll probably leave with much more than coffee!".
The search began.
She made her way through the labyrinth of isles, a plethora of sections and products to search, it was like heaven to her! Lost in her mind, marvelling at rows upon rows of goods before she got stopped, abruptly. "you know you was wrong for what you did." she turned, a tall, unknown man, in a white adidas jacket towered over her, she stared, confused. "You know, you are hella wrong for what you did." Assured he was speaking to her she replied, confidently, yet her memory dazed.
"what I do?"
