Jungkook, a renowned businessman, was not one for surprises. Yet, there he was, staring at the contract his father had just shoved across the table. It was a marriage contract, and the bride-to-be was Jihoon, a complete stranger.
His father's eyes held a stern glint. "This is a business deal, Jungkook. A very important one. Your cooperation is essential."
Jungkook felt a surge of anger. He was a grown man, capable of making his own decisions. He didn't need his father to dictate his life. But he knew better than to argue.
Jihoon, on the other hand, was a ball of fury. A forced marriage? It was absurd. She was an independent woman, not a pawn in a game of corporate chess.
When they finally met, their first encounter was as cold and formal as their contract. Jungkook was aloof and dismissive, while Jihoon was defiant and resentful.
Their forced marriage was a disaster from the start. They lived in separate rooms, barely spoke to each other, and fought whenever they were forced to interact.
But as time passed, something unexpected began to happen. They started to spend more time together, forced by circumstances. They discovered shared interests, shared meals, and even shared laughter.
Slowly, the walls between them began to crumble. Jungkook found himself drawn to Jihoon's strength and independence. Jihoon, in turn, was surprised by Jungkook's hidden depths.
Yet, their journey was far from over. The challenges of their forced marriage were only just beginning.

Chapter 2: A Tentative Alliance

Despite their initial animosity, Jungkook and Jihoon found themselves spending more time together than they had anticipated. It started with shared meals, then casual conversations, and eventually, unexpected outings.
One evening, while walking through the city park, Jihoon mentioned her passion for photography. Jungkook, surprised, asked to see her portfolio. He was impressed by her talent and the way she captured the world around her.
From that day on, they started spending more time together, exploring the city and sharing their interests. Jungkook was amazed by Jihoon's intelligence and wit. Jihoon, in turn, was surprised by Jungkook's softer side, a side he rarely showed to others.
However, their growing connection was still fraught with tension. The weight of their forced marriage hung over them like a dark cloud. They knew that their feelings for each other were forbidden, a dangerous game they were playing.
One evening, as they sat on a rooftop overlooking the city, Jungkook finally broke the silence. "I know this is wrong," he said, his voice barely a whisper. "But I can't help how I feel."
Jihoon looked at him, her heart pounding in her chest. She had been waiting for him to say those words. But she knew that their love was a dangerous game, one that could destroy everything they had built.
"We can't do this," she said, her voice trembling. "It's too risky."
Jungkook reached out and took her hand. "I know," he said. "But I can't let go."
