Mosasaur and missing a Mother

Jaiden POV

I walked Zach and Gray to the children's petting zoo for kids, since I knew that Gray would want to be close with some dinosaurs. It was very adorable to see him geek out about all these facts about the dinosaurs that even I didn't know about.

"Pick me up, pick me up." I heard Gray begged for his brother to pick him up to see the baby tric's

"I'm not dad and your not five. " Zach said still looking down at his phone. I sighed and rolled my eyes at him

"Hey Gray, want to see something cool?" I asked him as Gray was taking pictures of them

"Sure" he said with that cute, innocent smile. I chuckled and walked closer to the wooden gate, making a clicking sound with my tongue and I got the attention of two baby triceratops. Jumping over the gate I walked closer to the two of them "Gray, Zach, these are my two favorite baby triceratops."

Gray jumped over and walked next to me while Zach just watched us. "What are their names?" He asked me

"I call them Sydney and Mary Jane. They we born on the same as my birthday. " I petted Sydney on the head, and looked at the brownish red line that was over her head. Mary Jane had a little scar on her tail, since she got it from when on of those idiotic, scientists dropped her breaking the egg that Mary Jane was in.

What snapped me out of my thoughts was when I felt a hand on mine. It's was Grays hand. Feeling heat rise to my face I quickly pulled away from his hand and looked at him to see that he was blushing too

"Sorry Jaiden, I-I didn't mean to do that." He said as his face was still burning a bright red

"It's okay, don't worry about. " I said hoping that I wasn't still blushing. I looked over and saw Zach was smiling at us

"Come on you two love birds, let's go see something cool." He said as he starts to walk away

"We aren't love birds, Zach!" Gray said as we followed him to the Mosasaur arena.

We got into some seats that were in the splash zone and waited for the Mosasaur to come. "Alright, now let's see if she's still hungry from her last meal." Dakota, the worker said as we saw a dead great white shark hanging from a crane.

Seconds later, the giant, sea monster came out of the water, it's mouth wide open and bit the shark in two. Every one was cheering and screaming with excitement "Now let's get a closer look at her, and don't worry this is completely safe." She said as the bleachers started to go down to where you can fully see the Mosasaur.

"That was awesome!" Zach said

"Totally!" Gray and I said in unison

Zach look over at us and said "you guys want to see something cool!"

"Yeah!"

Zach POV

"So what do guys want to do next?" Jaiden said

"How about we go to those hamsterballs." I said, she turn around walking backwards looking at me

"Hamster balls?," she chuckled "there called Gyrospheres" I rolled my eyes at her

"Whatever, let's just go to the gyrospheres." Not really caring if we went there or not.

"So Jaiden, I've been meaning to ask you something" Gray said as he walked faster to catch up with her

"What is it?" She asked

"I've was wondering about who your parents are, and if you lived here or not?" He said. Jaiden stopped in hee tracks starting to look a little bit sad that was very obvious in her sky blue eyes

"Well, for the first question I have a father ,his name is Owen Grady and he trains the raptors. . .and my mom," her voice started to crack "She died during child birth. But my dad always made me happy during the time since it's only been the two of us living in a bungalow with an island full of dinosaurs and he even signed me up for self - defense classes before we moved here. Thing is that the only thing that I have left of her is a picture before she died" Gray looked a sad and disappointed in himself for asking her that question

"I'm sorry, I didn't know." He said as he rubbed her back

"It's fine, don't worry about it. Besides I never had friends before, so it's make me sad and happy to actually tell someone about this." She gave him a small smile and wiped some tears away.

"You never had friends? " I asked

She shook her head "Everyone thought that I was this scary girl, that shows no emotion and wasn't afraid to beat someone up when needed to. But their wrong I do show all those things." Jaiden added

"Well don't worry about that," Gray said to her "You already have friends, and that's us!"

Jaiden looked up at him and smiled "yeah you guys are my friends," she pulled him into a hug "Thank you, Gray" and gave me a kiss on the cheek and started walking again to where the gyrospheres were. I looked over at my little brother and saw that he was blushing like crazy

"Looks like Grays got a little girl friend" I said and started to walk towards Jaiden

"She's not my girlfriend Zach!" He yelled at me making me chuckled at him.

Gray POV

I know I should be excited but right now I feel sad, back at home I notice that my parents have been talking to different lawyers meaning that they were gonna get a divorce. We got on the monorail with Jaiden having the window seat, Zach in the Isle seat and myself in the middle of the two

"Are Mom and dad are getting a divorce. " I said out of the blue

"What? No, why would you asked that?" Zach said as he turn away from the girls that sat behind us

"We getting mail from two different lawyers. " My voice cracked a little

"That doesn't mean anything. " he said
"Their divorce lawyers I google them" I said tear now coming out of my eyes

"You haven't been here long enough, they've always been like this. Besides I'll be gone in two years and all my friends parents are divorced, plus you'll get two of everything; two Thanksgivings, two Christmas's-"

"But I don't want two of everything" cutting him off I got even sadder just thinking of it and felt more tear started to come down my face

"Hey your going to cry? Well don't, you need to grow up, girls don't like crybabies. " He said rudely

"Don't listen to him Gray," I looked at Jaiden" I like adorable crybabies. " she said and smiled while wiping some tear of my face with her thumb "it'll be okay, I promise."

I smiled back "Thanks Jaiden."

"Anything for a friend." She replied

The next chapter well be about when the I- Rex is attacking the ACU team. And including the first park ever be John Hammond (think that's he last name in the movie) hope you like it.
