Chapter 1 - Astria Beaumont

I, Mademoiselle Astria of Beaumont, have pledged my allegiance with Emperor Kyron of Fitzgerald to attain peace and order in this lifetime.

This is the story of a girl named Lee Yura who was bedridden due to an accident that took a toll on her body, in the present time, and was waiting for her time to perish. While waiting, she read a lot of novels, including "Looking for You in Another Lifetime". The story in this novel shows how love and fate created by the gods are working in the daily lives of this world and even on the other worlds that exist.

Yura's POV

During this time, I can feel that it's near. My Ending. My Finale. My Death.

Every parent's dream is to give the best to their children, maybe not all, but the parents and siblings I have now in this room. I can say that I am so lucky to be part of their family.

In this room, I got them on my head and bidding goodbyes. Seeing them crying, hurting, and regretful makes my heart ache.

While Mom is holding my hand, I can see the bright light while someone's calling my name. "Yura, my child. You have suffered in this lifetime"

I squeeze my Mom's hand as hard as possible to reassure her that I will be alright. My Dad while comforting my Mom also held my hand and said

"Yura, don't worry about us, we will be alright. You have to rest and be at peace. Remember that you are our only Princess and have fought a good fight, my dear."

These words of affirmation helped me to get through this disease. Every day, I was able to see how great this family is. How loving, how caring, and how reliable

Currently, I am in tremendous pain and I really cannot distinguish if I am really in pain. Is this how it feels when you are dying? It is unique at some point that makes me anxious.

I still want to have at least an extended time to visit him, but I don't think it will be possible.

BACKSTORY

On our way home after our 3-day vacation, Tenshi was driving while I took a nap. But a sudden impact came into our car and all of a sudden, I saw Tenshi. I wanted to cry, but the shock was so immense that I didn't have time to react. I tried to move my body, but I couldn't feel anything.

I can't feel any pain. I can't feel my body. Am I paralyzed? But, how about Tenshi, I should check on him.

Moments later, I heard the rescue team and I could feel my eyes dozing off. I can't close my eyes, how am I gonna see Tenshi? If he's okay or not. If I can still hear his voice or not. How can I...

I can still remember the first time we met. He was so shy during our team-building activities and so was I. But one of his colleagues came to our table during the buffet and asked who is Lee Yura when they knew that I was Lee Yura.

They asked if Tenshi could take a picture with me and to my surprise he was framed by his teammates. He was so shy that I could feel it in his voice saying...

"I don't know that they are up to something like this. I'm sorry"

After that, they were cheering and teasing us. Even on our workstations, they still teased us, especially Tenshi. Then there was this time that my teammates were talking something about me to Tenshi and the rest is history.

I was the first one to chat and told that those rumors weren't true. Well, I found out it was just a ploy that my teammates planned for me to do something since Tenshi was so shy to the bones. But, while we were chatting, he asked me for a date.
