As we Collide ; BeomJun/YeonGyu

Chapter 2

"Ready?" I shouted with excitement. "Ready! The last one to arrive at the hill would be given such a dare!" Kai exclaimed. We then started to ride and gosh, we are having such fun. We rode at the same pace and enjoyed the fresh cold breeze of the wind. 

Some of us are saying things but we can't here each other. I was actually being first but suddenly I think I saw.. Yeonjun? I paused for a moment to take a glance and.. Oh, it is really him. He's with Soobin-hyung and they have coffee cups at their hands. Right, I accidentally bumped at Soobin-hyung earlier at the coffee shop. I didn't realize that Taehyun and Kai already rode pass me but.. I don't know why I paused for him. Right! I'll just ask Yeonjun later when we're going to talk at Instagram. I then remembered if I would be the last one to arrive at the hill would be given a dare! I then pedalled my bicycle and start moving. And like I expected, I'm the last one.

"Why did you pause in the middle of the road?" thats what Kai asked me as soon as I arrived. "It's like someone's following you, are you okay Gyu?" Taehyun then dropped the bike and rush towards me. I just nodded within their questions. Of course I can't tell them about Yeonjun, it's just a hunch. "Don't tell me that guy is following you." Kai pointed out someone. Me and Taehyun looked behind us and a man with a black jacket is there standing at a pole. Huh? Who's that?

"Oh yeah, I noticed at the coffee shop he's also there. While we're taking pictures, he's nearby. Now we're here, he's also there. Don't tell me.." The three of us stared at each other. I then felt chills as I realized who they're talking about. Heejun. 

"No, he won't be following me, he already stopped.. right? I blocked him in every social.." My words trembled as I continued speaking. "A dummy account Beomgyu. Of course, these days you've been casually active and he probably made a dummy account. You know that's his redflag, stalking!" Kai said as he supported me walking to a nearby bench. I kept shaking because what if as soon as I'm alone he would be there and do something to me?

"Beomgyu, stop thinking about what he may or can do to you. We'll be here and always will be here for you. Let's take a breather so you won't have anxiety attack. Breath in and Breath out." Taehyun comforted me making me feel safe and relaxed once again. The both of them made sure that I feel safe once again. They stayed beside me until I calmed down completely. 

They even told me some jokes so that I could even laugh and smile again. I was about to speak when suddenly the sky rumbled.

"Oh dear, let's bike our way down to the parking lot." I quickly reacted which made Taehyun react as well. "Wait, don't tell me It's going to rain." Kai blunted. Me and Taehyun stopped to grab our bikes and stared at him. With that stare, Kai immediately knew, he showed us a peace sign and quickly grabbed his bike. But even we know the bad samaritan that would happen, we still laughed our way until we reach Taehyun's car. As soon as we entered, the rain then started to pour.

"Luckily we went to the university early. We still got to have some fun." I laughed making the others too. We first took a breather because we literally rushed and wasted our energy into going down the hill. I for sure lost some calories there.

"Wait, what about the rented bikes?" Taehyun asked which made me suddenly realize. I formed my mouth an Oh as realization. "I mean, if the rain stopped we can bring it..back..right?" I slowly spoke my words due to embarrassment. They just laughed at my statement which made me feel more embarrassed. "Yeah sure, let's go ride for a bit until the rain stops. If it doesn't, let's go to the nearby mall." Taehyun suggested. Me and Kai nodded as agreement.

I then connected my phone to the radio once again and played Every Summertime by NIKI. I then turned my gaze into the road, admiring the rain dropping into the plants over the place. But I can't help to still think about someone following me ever since we're at the coffee shop and why I always stop and think about that Yeonjun guy. Due to my thoughts, I then closed my eyes to rest for a moment.

As I opened my eyes, I was in such familiar place. The school garden? Wasn't it raining? Why is the sun is shining so brightly? I can't help but to cover my eyes.

"Beomgyu." A husky voice called my name. That voice. It's that voice who comforted me the day I needed someone so bad. I looked behind me and such figure is walking towards me. "Who are yo-" my words were cut off as that figure suddenly hugged me. And that smell that person have gave me such comfort. The butterflies in my stomach flew around inside me. "Please know your worth Gyu. Don't think about him getting into you. I'm always near you, I'm always here just for you. It's not him following you. Forget about him, he wasted you." those words again, just what I need due to my overthinks. "But who are you?" I asked, not realizing a tear had already fallen from my eye. I looked at the figure but my vision was blurry, just like that day. "Maybe it's time for you to know, Beomgyu." The figure slowly raised his hand to pat my head but suddenly...

"Beomgyu!" I was suddenly awoken by Kai's voice. Oh, a dream. "You're crying?" Taehyun then pointed out the tear on my right eye. I then wiped the tear as quick as I could and coughed. "Just a.. dream." The two looked at me concerned so I forcefully showed a smile. "Don't worry, I'm fine, okay?" I think it's really time to find this person.
