Again i would like to add that it's my first time writing a ff so I hope you'll bear with me, thank you

Enjoy!

I was woken up abruptly—not by an alarm, but by something worse: MINA (yeah, Mina from TWICE). "Hey, wake up! Do you think sleeping will help you achieve your dreams?" she yelled at me. "What dreams are you talking about?" I groaned in response. Right after I said that, I felt something slimy land on me. That was it—I couldn't take it anymore. I got up and headed straight to the bathroom without arguing further, knowing that continuing to argue would only make things worse. "See, you can get up early if you really want to," she said as she watched me head to the bathroom. "I wasn't even scheduled for anything this morning," I whispered under my breath, hoping she wouldn't hear me, but of course, she did. "Yeah, and?" she replied, before leaving the room.

"So, do you have anything planned?" I asked. "No, why? What about you?" she replied. "Uh, I'm only free from 6 p.m. onwards, so I'm thinking of messaging Hyunjin and Jeongin to see if they're busy. If not, I'm up for a night out with friends." I immediately picked up my phone to message our group chat.

babygirl 1💅: Is anyone here?

Babygirl 2😘😎: I'm here, bitches.

Babybread 😊🍞: I'm here too, but can someone tell me why I'm always called Babybread, huh?

babygirl 1💅: Baby, because we love you, what else?

Babygirl 2😘😎: They're right. So, Jisung, what did you want?

babygirl 1💅: Are y'all free to hang out?

Babygirl 2😘😎: Yes, I'll pick you both up in the car. Just wait for me, okay?

Babybread 😊🍞: Of course, Hyunjin, I'm waiting.

babygirl 1💅: Cool, see you then.

"So?" she asked me while eating her pancakes. "I'm going out with Hyunjin and Jeongin," I replied. She hummed in acknowledgment while nodding her head. "But don't forget to come back by 4 p.m. or before," she added before getting up and heading upstairs. "Okay, I won't forget," I assured her.

Just after I finished eating, I heard Hyunjin's car outside, so I went out to meet him and Jeongin. They were my childhood friends, and we knew everything about each other—even the dirty details of mine and Hyunjin's lives, and Jeongin's traumatic past. I got in and sat in the passenger seat.

"So, where are we going first, hyung?" Jeongin asked me. "To my favorite café, of course," I told him. "And then we'll hit the amusement park," Hyunjin added, turning on the radio. It was decided—we were going to have some fun.

We really enjoyed ourselves. We grabbed boba and smoothies to-go, and then we let loose at the amusement park. Afterward, when we didn't know what else to do and the sky was starting to darken, Hyunjin offered to drop us off at home. We dropped Jeongin off first, and for me, I asked Hyunjin to drop me at the café. I planned to walk home after having a cheesecake. Hyunjin offered to wait and drive me home after I was done, but an emergency came up, and he had to leave quickly. Fortunately, I didn't have to persuade him to stay.

After getting my order, I was about to leave when it started raining. "Seriously? Just when I was ready to go," I sighed. I decided to leave the cake at the café and return tomorrow for it. I decided to run to the bus stop, which wasn't far from the café... I think. It sounds stupid, but I couldn't think of another option, so I ran out of the café at full speed, even though I was getting soaked by the rain. I could barely see anything but kept running until I finally reached the bus stop, soaking wet and freezing. Of course, I was the only one there, standing like an idiot—the only person who would run to a bus stop in a storm like this. "Storm" might be an exaggeration, but I didn't care. After what felt like three hours, the rain let up a bit, and the bus finally arrived, so I could go home.

I felt like I was going to freeze to death, but I made it home, where I collapsed on my bed without even changing out of my wet clothes. I was too exhausted and passed out immediately.

Mina woke me up. "You finally woke up. It's 5 p.m.—almost time for your shift." I sat up in bed, squinting to wake myself up. I was still exhausted. "And why are you sleeping in wet clothes? You're all red. What's wrong?" She touched me and realized I was burning with fever. "Oh my God, Jisung, you're burning up! Don't tell me you were out in the rain earlier?" She said as she laid me back down on the bed. "You know what, we'll talk about this later. Let me get you some medicine. Rest and sleep." She went to the bathroom to get some medicine and made me swallow it before I had time to argue or protest. "What about the reservations?" I asked her worriedly as she was leaving my room. "I'll see if I can find someone to cover your shift, and if not, I'll cancel everything. Now rest and sleep, or you won't get better," she said, kissing my forehead before leaving. I loved her so much; she was like both a mother and a father to me.

I didn't fall asleep until about thirty minutes after she left.

And it's end here it's really short I know but I'll try to write more
