It was tough training, however Give could do this. He had to prove to his father he was able to do this.

One punch, one kick, one fight. He could do this.
Five's opponent was at least three years older than him. His eyes wander over to his father, he was placing bets. Of course he was. He didn't care about anything but money, alcohol, winning and cigarettes.

A string of fear washed over Five. He was terrified. If he lost this match, he knew he wasn't getting much sleep tonight.

"5! 4! 3! 2! 1! Begin!" The referee blows a whistle.
It begins, at first it went well, a few punches. Five and the opponent circled around the ring. A glisten of sweat on both of their foreheads.
There was a strange familiarity between them, trying to win this fight because they would face the consequences of failure.

Shouting and cheering in the crowd make everything worse for Five. However, there was no reason for him to not win this fight. And so, he starts to fight back and put more energy into it.

Five's father watches intently, making sure his son won. An did he didn't, then it would be a big problem.

One punch. Done. He wins. It was all so quick, his father grabbing his shoulders and shaking him and showing him off to the crowd.

"My son! My bloodline lives on in him! My legacy!" He yells, the men in the crowd cheering and shouting and clapping. Overwhelming Five.

He was one of them now.

Present

Five walked down the hallway into the meeting room. Antonio stood at the window with crossed arms and an angry look on his face.

As Five entered the room Antonio turns around.
"They got away with it." He spits.

"I know, it was half my fault. I should have taken down that girl and got the briefcase." Five responds sighing and taking a seat at the end of the table.

"A girl?" Questions Antonio.

"Yeah, I believe it was the rivals daughter. I could be wrong."

"Y/n...." Antonio mutters.

"How do you know her?" Five leans forward and rests his elbows on the table.

"She's well known." Antonio rubs his forehead. "I'm surprised you don't know her. She made her debut in the underworld last year."

Five narrows his eyes. He refused to believe this y/n girl had only debuted last year. Five had first entered this world when he was 15.  His fight was one of the most remembered since he was so young, and yet so strong.

"Your father has been in contact." Antonio's words make Five freeze and client his jaw.

"What did he want." Five responds sharply as if he wanted to dismiss this conversation quickly.

"He wanted to speak to you. But he said you must have a new number because he couldn't get ahold of you."

"I purposely blocked him." Five reaches into his pocket and pulls out his phone and swiping around before he sees his father's contact. He knew it wasn't his father's actual phone he was going to call, because he had multiple burner phones. He wouldnt get caught that way.

"Goodluck." Antonio mutters before leaving the room.

Five sighs and clicks the call button.

Every time the phone rang, another memory comes back into his mind. Ones that weren't pleasant, ones he wishes he wouldn't remember.

However, his father doesn't pick up. How fatherly.

Y/n looks at the breifcase on her bed. She knew her father cared about this so much. She also knew how he needed this money to keep paying off his debts to other mafias.

She opens the breifcase and checks out the amount of money. This still wouldn't be enough to pay off the loans, money needed for food, clothes, weapons. Nothing left for anything.

She needed fresh air.

Y/n walks around her father's base. It was grimy and the lighting dark and the bulbs flicker slightly. She makes her way up to the roof, climbing the stairs fast as id she was desperate for fresh air.

It was dark out, the full moon was shining onto her face. Aluminating her features.

Y/n sits over the edge, watching the city from afar. It had always been her dream to live in the upper part of New York. Instead of the dusty streets she came from. The world she had always known wasn't the one she wanted.

Y/n's thoughts consume her.

Suddenly she felt something against her neck, she snaps back into reality and elbows the person behind her and swings around and sees who is there.

"Oh for fucks sake. Can you not watch yourself sister?" Y/n's brother appears. Rein.

"What do you want, Rein." Y/n snaps.

"Calm yourself, I know you come here when you are in thought."

"Maybe I'm thinking about our father's terrible finances." Y/n smirks.

Rein smiles and sits next to her.
"You know, I hear your a new important asset in our father's plan to take down the Hargreeves."

"I am? Great they deserve to be taken down for what they did." Y/n clenches her jaw and her fists tighten a bit.

"Our mother didn't die from the Hargreeves. She choose to leave. She wanted to keep us safe." Rein argues.

Y/n shakes her head. She knew the truth, and that wasn't it.
"You don't get it..."

"Father needs you. He knows you can take them down, especially that Five. He is really good, I heard he was one of the youngest to debut." Rein smiles. "You might get along."

Y/n scoffs and stands up, she begins to walk away.

"Hey! Don't just walk away!" Rein chuckles.
Y/n puts her middle finger up at him, Rein smirks.

"Love you too."
