"Every encounter must have their goodbye Fang, and now... It's time for me to say goodbye," 

Weak? Yeah, weak. That's what he felt at the moment. Who's gonna keep him positive now? Reverse? He can't talk with him the way he usually do right? Kaizo? Will he even listen to the 'unimportant' things that Fang talks about? His friends? Why does he needs to give more burden on his friends mind? Now, he's alone. Yes, that's the word. Alone.

Fang look down. Not daring to see the figure in front of him disappearing.

"Fang," he called. But Fang didn't face him.

"How cruel, I'm going away and my master won't even look at me?" Shadow asks making Fang flinch. But Shadow smiles never leave his lips. Slowly, Fang rise his head. Making eye contact with his 'elemental power'. As Shadow expected, tears started to wet Fang cheeks.

"Don't leave... I don't mind if I don't master shadow power completely..." Fang said with a shaky voice. He looks down once again. Shadow raise his hand to Fang chin and make him look up to meet his eyes.

"Fang, I will always be near you. Even if you can't talk to me, even if you can't meet me, even if you can't see me, I won't go anywhere. I will always be near you," he tries to comfort his master. But it didn't work. What's the point? He's going to leave.

"I will use the last remaining of my power to strengthen the chains that I used on Rev. So,  Rev wouldn't be able to do anything for the time being," Shadow said. Fang who has already lost his voice just nodded his head.

"Absorb me fully, okay?" he asks as he let go of Fang chin. Fang look down and gripped his hands. Yet he still nodded his head.

"Before I go... Can I ask you for some favors 'master'?" he asks. No more 'Fang'. It's master now.

"Speak," was all he could reply as he raise his hands, almost touching Shadow face. Ready to absorb him fully.

"Become stronger, be happy and learn to control your emotions for me... I don't know for how long my chains will be able to chain Reverse considering he gets stronger each time your emotions are involved... These are the last favors of mine. Will you do it master?" Shadow asks. This time, Fang kept quiet and didn't reply. Shadow knows that this means, Fang can't do the favors he asks him. But he knew that Fang will try to keep the favors that he ask.

Fang raise his head. Tears that fall from his eyes slowly dried up. That's right. every encounter must have their goodbye. And now, it's time for them to have their goodbye. Fang look at Shadow who is still smiling at him. But now, at the moment, Fang look expressionless. His face didn't show any emotions. Not fear, nor sadness.

"Never once have I regret meeting you, Master," Shadow said. And again, Fang didn't reply.

"Anything else?" Fang ask. His eyes didn't leave Shadow's face. Expressionless still. Shadow reply with slowly shaking his head.

"Farewell Master. Thank you for everything,"

And with that, Fang uses his power on Shadow. Shadow slowly get absorb by his own power. And within minutes, Shadow is gone. Like he never exist at all.

At that moment, Fang could feel his powers overflowing inside him. Like it has always be a part of him. Like he was born with it. But he didn't feel happy, nor proud. So what did he feel at that moment? The answer is nothing. He turn his face to look at the chained Reverse. The chains seems stronger than before Shadow disappear. Fang raise his hand towards the chained up Reverse.

Three.

Three layers of shields. To make it even harder for Reverse to escape. Now, he just need to learn how to control his emotions.
