chapter one

The school bell rang and all the students were marching to their individual classes.

It was the first day in Maureen Academy, all the students were finely dressed, noises swarm through the hall as a car pulled in front of the SS3 block,

"Oh my goodness I can't believe she is bold enough to come back to school after what happened,

bisi whispered to olive,

"No for real she definitely is bold,

Olive replied as they laughed at their joke

Bolu stepped out of her range Rover and walked towards the building, patty ran towards her with joy all over her,

Bestie oh my goodness bestie you look better than I thought",

"That's definitely not Bolu",
Olive whispered to bisi

Everyone stopped on their tracks to watch the two best friends reunite,

Bolu pov:

I stood Infront of the mirror with my uniform  thinking about how I would go back to Maureen Academy,
I still don't think am bold enough to face everyone in school but my mum refuses to let me change school because it was SS3 and there's no way she would let me drop out.

"Bolu come down breakfast is ready, zion our chef called from downstairs 

I will be down in a minute Zion",
I checked my clothes properly and hurried down to eat.

My mum sat at the end of the dinning table,

"Good morning mummy"

I greeted,

Mhmm"

My mum moaned as a reply

How was your Singapore trip "

I asked trying to strike a conversation

"It went as smoothly as it was intended to"

My mum said as she dropped her spoon and wiped her mouth,

She went over to Zion am whispered something to him,

She didn't even spare me a glance and left the house,

"Miss Bolu it's already 7:15 pm we need to leave for school"

.  Couldn't even miss one of my mum's words just like a robot,

I and my mum didn't have this kind of relationship
Till what happened last term she still can't look me in the eyes no matter how I plead beg and ask her to forgive me, 

Am a disappointment,

I stepped inside my range Rover and whipped out my to check myself in the camera to be sure, I took in a breath and the car drove off.
