LAMPERT'S POV. (Finally.)

I wake up and immediately run to my fathers' room. I can't get ready and leave without telling them where I'm going, can I?
"Fathers, I'm going out to save Kasp-" I start, but before I can finish my sentence, I see a horrific sight.
Wallter.
He's being eaten alive by Mark.
This can't be happening. It can't be! I start hyperventilating as I stare at the scene, hand still on the doorknob.
Mark looks aggressive now. Almost as if that's a stage. He'd never do this willingly. His eyes dart over to me as I hear Wallter gasp out "Run."
I slam the door shut and run as fast as I can. Running past Split and Bive. Pilby and Mach. Jeremy and...

Unpleasant?
Fucking hell, I can't have peace here!
As I run past Unpleasant, they tackle Bive. I stop in my tracks when I hear Bive and Split screaming about it and I run back, kicking Unpleasant's head.
To my surprise, it goes flying off like a soccer ball. It's over for them. They're dead.
Bive is hyperventilating and trying to get the infection off of her.
"GETITOFFGETITOFFGETITOFF!" Bive screams.
"Bive, calm down! I'll be back with something to help you!" I say, running off again.
I run out of the building. I try to find MR's hideout, but I just can't for some reason.

EXPERIMENT NUMBER: 001
001 seems to not be compliant yet despite how I've jabbed him with needles multiple times. Each time, I use a more painful substance in the needles, but he doesn't seem to respond to it. He just...
Glitches.
This could prove useful. He glitched and practically teleported into another corner once when I was about to probe his skin with a needle. It's so interesting how he's one of many humans in this elevator, yet he has this weird power.
I need to get rid of it. But I can't risk getting rid of his infection. In order to find out what makes him like this, I will be doing brain surgery on 001. He might die in the process, but I always have replacements.
It'll be fun to finally poke at someone's brain again. And if he does die, he'll make a fine vessel for me so I can move around more freely. Something tells me I will enjoy this tremendously.
