Part 23: Burning and complicated

Y/n's pov:

As the random chuck had finnished the unessecary musical interuptance we all stood there in shock, still processing everything that just happen. The chick ( Mimzy, i think) was visably annoyed that none of us played that much attention to her song as she placed her hand on her (thicc) thighs with a pinch of sourness in her tone
" Didn't ya'll just hear me? Why is everybody gawking? Is it because i'm adorable?"
She suddenly did a pose with a cheek smile.

Before any of us could reply Alastor suddenly left out of the crowd with wide arms towards Mimzy
" Mimzy!"
He called out.

I raised an eyebrow at that reaction. I've never seen Alastor greet anyone like that, i mean sure he was like that with Charlie but this time it kinda feelt diffrent....his change of tone feelt warm, almost geniune excited to see her.

Mimzy beemed at the Radio demon
" Alastor! Sweetie! Dollface, sol good to see ya! How have you been? Good? Good!"

The two demons took me by suprise as they both hugged with happy hums escaping their shut lips.

This was the first time i've seen ANYONE make physical contact with the Radio demon, that is not killing and clawing ofcourse. I could sense that everyone else here in the hotel was just as taken back by Alastors fondness with the demoness.

I was woken out of my thoughts when i feelt a familiar finger poking my cheek not too harshly, i snapped my neck to the side to find out that the person was Lucy with a blank expression, she pointed with her thumbs towards Mimzy as i just shrugged, showing that i didn't know what was happening either.

That Mimzy lady then started to introduce herself infront of the other residents, mostly just Charlie and Lucifer, explaining that she just wanted to see her "old friend" , also revealing unessecary information that they were old friends back in the 1920s while Alastor just chuckled along, almost sounded like a geniune gleeful chuckle.

It was hard to belive that THIS was the same demon that litearly torn my ex Overlord to meat shreds, had stalked me for years and is obviously out to get something out of the poor, naive Charlie.

Ok, ok naive is might too harsh on the poor girl......

" Come on Y/n, we won't deal with this!"
The demanding, sharp voice of Lucy suddenly errupted behind me, boldly grabbig a tight hold on my soft hand and simply pulling me along to the bar. She was clearly sick of so much drama and tension in one room. Although i found it werid that she just pulled me along with her like that like i was some kind of ragdoll.

As she continued to drag me behind her it feelt like my whole world was clouded, heat rose up to my cheeks , my mouth hanging by the feeling of her thumb pressing against my knuckles.

As we reached the bar she bluntly put me on one of the stilla before positioning in her own right beside mine.

I didn't know why i didn't protest against her just treating me like her acessorary, maybe that i wasn't expecting it, maybe because i didn't wanna upset her, knowing now how much short fuse he posessed or....that i just enjoyed getting dragged by her.....

God,i'm so weird.....

We just sat there for a good while. I fiddled with my hands in my lap, clicking my tounge by the sound of the ticking of the rusty clock in the dark, hollow hallway. Lucy on the other hand hand her fist against the smooth bar counter as she mumbled something under her breath, that i choose not to ask about. By now i knew just how passed of she can be by a simple question or by one single sudden touch.
