Y/n's pov:

The atmosphere in the lobby was hot and steamy, sorta reminded me of some greeze-filled resturants beside from the reeking, stining smell of alcohol and booze. Me and Lucy clinked our glasses together in a fit of laughter as i crossed my legs, sinking deeper into the soft fabric of the bar-stoll i was now sitting in.

My head felt a little dizzy even though we've only had like three rounds , but i still managed to follow Lucy as she told me an amusing story about what sge did before she checked into this hotel. She told me that she was an asassin in her living life and was really proud of it." And then i skinned him and let all his blood pour out like juice out of a packet! " Lucy cackled , almost snorted out of her nostriols as sher shugged down yet another shot aggressivly before slamming the glass on the bar-counter. " And then he was just screaming like a banshee, like seriously, it almost killed my left ear! and afterwards i bought some really good wine for the cash i managed to earn that day"

" And you did that with a spear? Dang, you gotta teach me that someday!" I raised and eyebrow at her as i raised the glass up to my lips and quickly drank down the whole thing but my nose wrinkled at the sour aftertaste. i do really hope that Charlie will manage to ge her hands on better liquid cause this taste pretty old.

Lucy chuckled and gave me a smug face as she leaned in and nudged my shoulder" Maybe i will" tho as soon as she touched my shpulder her eyes drifted to my face before they went wide and with a swift move jerked herself away from me with a high shriek.

Lucy turned her fa ce away from me to avoid eye-contact but then we both noticed that Vaggie walked into the hotel lobby with a clipboard and papers in her hands and soon set herself comfortable on one of the red-velvet couches with Charlie who was visably a little sad. Vaggie seemed so unbotherd yet so focused as she read and wrote on the dozen of paperwork. I must admit, her ambission for this hotel was inspiring. I suddenly snapped back into my thoughts wen i haerd that Lucy hissed threw her gritted teeth. No! I coould sworn that she was hissing.

i gently shook her shoulder wich made her slightly flinch for a moment and turned around to me again but took a tight hold on my wrist " First: Don't touch me like that! "

I squeaked as she gripped me, her soft yet sharp fingers clutching my wrist feelt so weird, i could slowly realise that my breathing were getting heavier and my heart started to bump hard in my chest. Heat started to raise insde me yet i managed to gulp and slowly nod before she let go of me, strill glaring frustrated into my eyes" Seacond: what is it?" She ashed as she fiddled with her glass

" What's your problem with Vaggie?" I asked as i position myself into my seat

" I don't understand what you mean"

i grumbled i annoyence at her bluntness as he set my glass down and clasped my hands together. " What i mean is that WHY are you so cold towards her all the time? She hasn't been anyting but welcomming ton you since day one and you're just being rude to her most of the time or talking shit behind her back? What's your problem with her"

She only scoffed"  That's none of your buisness"

It took me a hell alot of effort not to snap at her idiotical answers as i rested my rigt elbow on the counter and rested my chin on it as i gazed over to Vaggie in the corner off my eye. " But like WHY tho, i mean.... she's really cool"
