10: R and R

3 Days have passed

When they arrived at Mistral they were welcomed by four familiar faces

It was Morag, Brighid, Zeke and Pandoria

Jaune: hey you didn't get lost.

Zeke: what do you take me for old chum?

Pandoria: a scatter brain.

Zeke: Pandy!?

Morag and Brighid was snickering while the others just laugh

Pyra: Rex that's not nice.

He just shrugs

Nia: wow Rex is showing some backbone, I like it.

Mythra: I'll admit it's a whole lot better than his wishy washy self.

Jaune: ah sod off.

Pyra whispers to Mythra

Pyra: he seems to be doing a lot better. He really just needed someone to believe in him.

Mythra: I hope we can keep him that way. It.....hurts to see him so broken.

Nia: yeah.

Jaune: well you guys explore around and I'll get some hunting jobs to get us settled.

Mythra: this time I'm coming with you.

Pyra: then....

Nia: all four of us can go, you guys can find an Inn we'll earn our keep.

Zeke: well we were the previous party last time so a little r&r would do us some good.

Jaune: well let's meet up later and we can catch up.

Jaune and his party moves out while the others secure lodging

Zeke: he seems different.

Morag: indeed it appears he's gotten a little more confident.

Brighid: I wonder what happened.

Tora: we beat a Bandit Tribe! Meh meh meh!

Zeke: whoa you already got yourselves into trouble without us?

Tora: no we didn't! We just took care of the problems here! Meh!

Morag: you got to tell us later.

Poppi: Master Rex should tell the story, he did beat the big bandit lady.

Meanwhile

Jaune: so..... I need a babysitter now?

Nia: you're starting to act like one asking that question. What's wrong in lending you a hand?

Jaune: nothing, I just thought you guys would like to take a break.

Mythra: you should take your own advice.

Jaune: we need the money.

Pyra: then we can help.

Jaune: alright let's finish this and get back before it gets dark.

Later that day they managed to wipe out a nest of Beowulves and a couple of Ursa and was able to get a hefty reward as it appears to be a lack of Huntsman and Huntress available in Mistral

Back at the Inn

Jaune: this is strange....

Nia: what is?

Jaune: there were so many jobs and very few Huntsmen available.

He walks around and talk to the people as he learned that the Vytal Festival was near and the Huntsmen were mostly sent to help with security all around their Kingdoms
