I woke up in pure blackness I couldn't remember anything, my first instinct was to search my pockets for something when I didn't fined anything, I got on my hands and knees and felt for anything on the ground, soon enough I felt a piece of paper and what felt like a flashlight. After searching for the switch to the flashlight I turned it on and looked at the piece of paper in my hand, the flashlight didn't give off much light it was pretty dull but I quickly read the paper before it die or something worse." Your name is Jade, that's all I'll tell you for now, to find out more you must find your way out look for a door." I read the note out loud, "why would someone do this" that was the question on my mind but I had to focus on finding this door. As soon as possible I got up and start feeling around the walls, when it suddenly hit a large bump searching around there a little more I found a knob, sadly it was locked. I found my way back to the flashlight and paper and sat there thinking, I checked everywhere just to find paper, a flashlight, and a random door but found no key I kinda just sat there in the dark trying not to freak out. About 5 minutes later it hit me like a rock I grabbed the flashlight open the top and held it upside down hearing the batteries fall out of it, then like a pin dropping I heared the steal key drop onto the cold concrete floor I quickly grabbed it and found my way back to the door once again. This time the door opened it lead to a staircase there was light leading up the stairs and considering just being in a dark room for at least a hour it was really bright. I started walking up the stairs it didn't take long it was only about 3 floors till I saw a note it read " Dear Jade, if you are reading this you've completed test one, now go out this door go to the closest bank say your name is Raine McCartney and find your next clue." I had so many questions like what did "it" mean by test or why do I have to go to the bank or my favorite what am i doing here, but getting back to reality I walked through the door like the note told me to and found a large sign saying Welcome to North Carolina.
