Face covering: All vampire hunters wear a thick face covering, to not only conceal their identities, but to prevent vampires from infecting them via saliva or spit.

Weapons:
A 15th Century "Bastard Sword", believed to have once belonged to Racek Kobyla. Elias has modified it by adding a silver finish to the blade, massively increasing its lethality against vampires.

A stiletto knife, fastened to the strap of Elias's satchel. The blade is made from blackened steel, but the lack of silver implies this weapon may be intended to be used as a "last resort".

A chain whip, with silver barbs attached to the chains. This whip is designed to maim and immobilize vampires to prevent their escape.

An American made Colt 1849 Revolver, chambered in .31 Caliber rounds. Though not as accurate as a rifle, these revolvers have a comfortably effective range of 50 yards. Combined with silver tipped ammunition, and these revolvers could exterminate a vampire before they got too close.

Personality: Elias is a quiet man, and is very conservative with his words. He tends to be reclusive, only really opening up during meetings with his fellow hunters. During hunts, he usually only speaks when giving a vampire their "last rites" as he calls it. Though he doesn't show it, he cares deeply for his family, and the few people he calls friends.

Quick backstory: Elias is the eldest son of Francis Hawthorne and only child of Jennifer Raymond. Elias is a bastard, an illegitimate child. His father, Francis, is Lord of Lewiston, Scotland. His mother, Jennifer, just an American. Though considered illegitimate, Elias saw his father often enough to still claim him as a father, but him and his mother lived separately from Francis, leaving Elias somewhat resentful of his Half-siblings. Elias received a proper education and even went to college for a couple years. In college, he met a young woman named Camilla, and fell head over heels for her. Unfortunately, the two would not remain together, as Camilla would reveal she was secretly a vampire, and had been intending to take Elias captive and use him as a sacrifice. This event would be the catalyst of Elias's career as a vampire hunter. In self defense, he killed Camilla, but would go on to track down the rest of her coven, exterminating them. Afterwards, he fled to Prague, the capital of the Kingdom of Bohemia. Using information he obtained from Camilla's belongings, he was able to track down and join a clan of vampire hunters.
