A long time ago, Dangun Wanggeom the founder and king of Gojoseon gave birth to the strongest being ever conceived in the human race. While not aware of his son's faith, Dangun raised him to become a strong, independent boy capable of ruling his kingdom in his absence.

But this all changed when the boy turned the age of 18 and his body transformed over the course of his deep slumber. He became muscular but it was enough that his added pecks didn't show on his robes. He also felt like he was able to hear better and smell better than before. But the most obvious transformation was the color of his hair, it turned white with gray tips.

Nobody can change this drastically overnight, but he did.

2333 BCE - Gojoseon

"Your Highness, the King is here to see you"

You looked to your doors and saw the silhouette of your father alongside his followers

"You may enter"

The doors were opened and your father in his royal robes entered by himself, " It's been a while since I came down here, how are you son?"

"I am well, Your Majesty. Just getting used to my body and reading literature to pass the time"

Ever since that day, I was never allowed to step foot outside my quarters because the great sage, Jizi warned my father about a great collision between the heavens and stars on the 7th day from the night I transformed. Somehow, they both thought that something might occur to me during that day.

I never really understood why this happened to me in the first place, but it's been six days. So, whatever that event was, it will happen tonight.

"No need to worry, Son. I will make sure that nothing happens to you" He said with a caring tone as he already increased to royal guards on the surrounding corners of my quarters.

"Your Majesty, I will say this with my utmost respect but I think that the stars or heavens are far too occupied about other significant things than myself" I said to him as he looked at me with warmth in his eyes.

"But I can never be too careful, I am your father and king of this land. I cannot risk losing my beloved son if there was even a chance of it even happening"

"I know. Thank you for taking care of me. But you must go back to your quarters, the sun is about to set" I replied to him with worry as he always risks himself from attacks at night.

"Then I best get going. Rest well" He said with a hint of nervousness of what's about to be the 7th night since that day.

"Take care, Your Majesty. I will see you tomorrow"

But I never did.

3rd POV

Y/n is seen sleeping in his chambers when suddenly the establishment of his quarters started to shake and as he woke up from his slumber he saw a blinding light illuminating from the middle of his room. It was as if, a star has made its way in his bedroom.

This shook him to his core and was further alarmed by the tentacles of light growing out of the strange illumination. The tentacles started to make its way to him and he started throwing everything that he was able to get his hands on.

But the tentacles just swept the objects away and it continued its way to Y/n as if it was attracted to him.

"What are you?! Why are you doing this?!"

Y/n shouted as the tentacle had wrapped itself around his foot and started to pull him over to the strange light in the room. He struggles to kick the light off his foot but it never budged.

'Is this it for me?'

'What of my father?'

Alongside countless thoughts going through his head as he stopped his struggles as he lost strength and hope of his survival. He let himself get dragged to the center of his room were the source of the tentacles was coming from.

'I am so sorry, Father'

He last thought, as he got absorbed by the light and never to be seen again.

After the cosmic event that happened over the lands of Gojoseon, the people started to speculate that the world was about to end. Many believed that the moving lights across the sky that night were the heavens throwing rocks at the people as punishment, while some believed it to be caused by gods' disappointment with the ruler of this land.

King Dangun was awake and worried during the time of the event but sadly, he was not yet aware of the havoc that was happening in his son's quarters. And when he was notified of Y/n's disappearance, he had emptiness in his eyes as tears came out of them. He had the look of sadness and anger, as he thought about what his old friend, Jizi told him.

5 days before present time

"You cannot save him from this, Dangun" Jizi said with a sad look on his face

"There must be another way that we can spare him from this! I cannot lose him Jizi! He is the only one I have" Dangun exclaimed after remembering the passing of his late wife.

"But there is not, no magic or witchcraft can stop the written destiny of the stars, Dangun. I know how hard this is for you but you cannot change his faith"

"How can I! The King of this land, let his son succumb to his impending doom while being aware of it happening!"

At this point, he started the break into tears of anger and disappointment because he knew Jizi was right. No matter what he does, he cannot control the will of the heavens.

"Y/n is a good prince, I am certain that whoever is writing this child's faith, is doing so because he has a bigger and better purpose in whatever the gods put him up to. Trust your son, Dangun. He had these changes for a reason"

The great king just sat there, unmoving and silent because he loved his son so much but he cannot do anything about the situation.

Flashback End

He still had a look of sadness but as he remembered the great sage's words, he started to have hope.

'I know you are out there son. Please be okay and I am sorry'
