1. Restraunt
One of your characters in the story heard about this new restraunt which opened in their town. After school/work,They go up to their friends and tell them about the new restraunt and in the evening,They went to that restraunt and sat down at the table and ordered their favourite food. Once it came,They ate it ravenously without knowing some killing substance was inside it and they died.
(You can also add a detective case after this)
2. Carnival
Your character and their friends decide to go to a carnival. There are so many fun things to do,there's tasty food,there's also a circus which looks fun. Your character notices there's something suspicious about the circus, Whenever a person goes in the circus tent,They never come out. Your character and their friends then go inside and see all the shows with awe. But at the last show,The people's corpses dangled down,hung onto a rope. These were the people your character saw going inside..They tried to run but then this sudden lion-elephant-puppet fusioned monster then takes them all up and eats them.
(The fusion is entirely up to you actually)
3. Online Videogame
(the game is entirely up to you,I'm just using this as an example)
Your character started a livestream with their friends on this game called 'Sprunki'. It started with the usual start scene looking peaceful with seven grey,bored looking people and some colourful icons below. Your character drags one of the icons to one of the people and It starts playing a music beat. But then while your character was jamming to the music,It then became scary and all the seven characters looked gory. Your character quickly ends the stream and shuts off the game,they then sleep in their bed for the day..At 3 AM,When they woke up,They saw seven gory people...It was clear they were from the game..They all then grabbed them and that was your character's last..
