So it has been a long shift in the LAPD and Tim and Lucy leave the elevator after their talk. Lucy makes her way to the car. She gets in her car and it doesn't start. She doesn't know what to do so she calls Tim. Tim answered and she tells him what's happening and he ran to her car.
L:I'm sorry you got to come over here to help me but I knew you were still here so I called you.
T:don't be sorry I told you I needed to repay you so this is only the beginning.
L: you don't need to repay me for helping you.
T: I do but I won't argue so what's going on.
L: it just won't start idk what's going on.
Tim tries and tries to get it to start but he fails.
T: I will call a tow truck tomorrow but I will give you a ride home.
L: you don't haft to do that I can Uber.
T: No! I will carry you home.
L: ok Tim I won't fight bc I'm hungry.
T: ok well let's go.
Tim and Lucy walks to his truck. They keep a distance between them. Tim opens Lucy's door and Lucy gets in and Tim goes to his side to get in.
L: you know i should have opened the door for you since your arms hurt not the other way around.
T: well I'm the man so I open the door.
L: under Lucy's breath- not my man tho.
She didn't think Tim could hear her but he did. He had a frown and opened him glove compartment to put his off duty gun in. Lucy looked at what he was doing and she saw a little black velvet box in the glove compartment. Tim saw it in there and quickly closed. He now was thinking about the day that Tamara and him went out and bought the ring. Lucy was thinking about how long he had had the ring and if it was even a ring. They stayed silent and Tim drove to the food trucks.
L: what are we doing here?
T: we are getting us food you said you were hungry.
L: I meant I wanted to get home and get something not you get me food.
T: Just repaying you.
L: for what! Doing my job and saving my ex.. TO and ex boyfriend. A life's a life just cause my hearts broken that the love of my life left me don't mean you mean any less. I may not go home to you in my bed or wake up on your chest but you still mean more to me than Chris or damn Nolan ever did. She says tearing up.
T: Nolan??
L: Tim I just confessed all my feelings but you are worrying about damn Nolan.
T: Luce idk what to say. I lied to save you and Angela and myself. I put you in this situation and I got you out of it by breaking up you. You don't mean any less to me and I miss waking up next to you but you deserve better than a man that..
L: don't you dare say you hurt me. You have never hurt me except for breaking up with me. That destroyed me changing you contact and driving home to an empty bed or even downing the whole bottle of wine in my fridge alone.
T: You downed that whole bottle of wine. Luce I'm a guy and you can sure as hell find a better one.
L: that's not even it. Me going to my bathroom with a knife prepared to cut my wrist or the cuts on my leg from a razor blade..
Lucy tried to continue but Lucy was silenced by Tim with a kiss.
T: Lucy why would you even think about ending your life over a man.
L: it was just a man it was the damn love of my life the man i will spend the rest of my life with if I would just come to his senses.
Tim went in for another kiss that turned into another kiss and another kiss.
T: Stop Lucy let's get some food and I won't ever leave you alone again. You won't ever sleep alone again.
L: you can't promise that bc what about metro trips or my UC trips.
T: ik I can't promise that but if I'm able to be home I will no matter what.
L: ok but I'm hungry and I smell tacos.
Tim gets out of the car and locks the car so Lucy can't open her own door and unlocks it's so he can open it for her.
L: so much effort for just a girl.
T: Just a girl damn you down graded yourself you are not just a girl you are a beautiful woman that is sexy and freaky in the sheets
L: You haven't even seen my freak in the sheets yet. I don't show that off till I get me else. *Her flashing her hand back and forth symboling a ring.*
T: you think a ring will make sex better.
L: 100% bc I will have something on my finger that means I'm yours.
They eat and get back in the car.
T: and for you saying that a ring will show that your mine but what about this on your neck for now to show your mine.
Tim bites and sucks her neck making the letter T on her neck.
L: what about work? Having a big damn hickey on my neck doesn't help our case of us not being together.
T: I don't care if they know bc you mine and no one will flirt with you seeing this on your neck.
L: but you're back on patrol and back in my chain of command.
T: you won't be for long though.
L: what is that supposed to mean

Tim runs into Lucy's house before responding and using his old key to get in Lucy couldn't bear to ask for it back.
Lucy runs after him only a few steps behind him. She gets in and shuts the door. She pushes him against the door and started kissing him. Trying to get it out of him.
