Diddy approaches the Arwing to investigate. Before he can get too close, a huge rumble comes from the lake.
DIDDY KONG:
(Alarmed)
What now?
Suddenly, RAYQUAZA emerges from the lake, looking furious.
DIDDY KONG:
(Gasping)
Whoa!
Rayquaza, seemingly upset that its territory has been invaded, fires an energy ball at the Arwing.
DIDDY KONG:
(Shocked)
No!
The energy ball hits the Arwing, causing a small explosion. Rayquaza then grabs Diddy with its massive claws, intent on harming him.
RAYQUAZA gives a big roar at Diddy, who struggles to break free.
DIDDY KONG:
(Struggling)
Let go of me!
Before Rayquaza can do anything else, a mysterious figure leaps out of the Arwing and frees Diddy with a swift attack.
DIDDY KONG:
(Confused)
Huh?
The mysterious figure lands gracefully in front of Diddy, revealing himself to be FOX MCCLOUD.
FOX MCCLOUD:
(Steely)
You okay, little guy?
DIDDY KONG:
(Nodding)
Yeah, thanks to you!
FOX and Diddy turn to face Rayquaza, who roars in anger.
FOX MCCLOUD:
(Determined)
Let's take this beast down!
DIDDY KONG:
(Fired up)
Right!
The two heroes engage in battle with Rayquaza, using their unique skills to fight the legendary Pokémon.
FOX MCCLOUD:
(Shooting)
Watch out for its energy attacks!
DIDDY KONG:
(Flipping)
Got it!
They dodge Rayquaza's powerful strikes and counterattack with precise hits.
FOX MCCLOUD:
(Yelling)
Now!
DIDDY KONG fires his Peanut Popguns, hitting Rayquaza in a weak spot. Rayquaza roars in pain, giving FOX an opening to deliver the final blow with his blaster.
RAYQUAZA lets out a final roar before collapsing back into the lake, defeated.
FOX MCCLOUD:
(Breathing heavily)
Nice work, kid.
DIDDY KONG:
(Smiling)
You too! I'm Diddy Kong, by the way.
FOX MCCLOUD:
(Grinning)
Fox McCloud. Nice to meet you, Diddy.
DIDDY KONG:
(Determined)
We need to rescue my friend DK. He was taken by Bowser.
FOX MCCLOUD:
(Nodding)
Then let's go get him back.
With a newfound ally, Diddy and Fox prepare to continue their mission to rescue Donkey Kong and stop Bowser.
DIDDY KONG:
(Determined)
Right! But we have to move quickly. Bowser's not going to wait around.
FOX MCCLOUD:
(Hesitant)
I've got my own mission to worry about, but...
DIDDY KONG grabs FOX's hand, pulling him towards the jungle.
DIDDY KONG:
(Pleading)
Please, Fox! I can't do this alone. DK needs us!
FOX looks into DIDDY's eyes, seeing the desperation and determination.
FOX MCCLOUD:
(Sighing)
Alright, Diddy. Let's do this.
DIDDY KONG:
(Grinning)
Thanks, Fox!
With their alliance solidified, the duo head back into the jungle, ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead.
As they move through the dense foliage, they encounter more KOOPA TROOP soldiers attempting to block their path.
