Subspace with character dialogue

Chapter Two

DIDDY KONG steps in front of DK, ready to battle against Bowser.

DIDDY KONG:
(Determined)
We're not afraid of you, Bowser!

BOWSER prepares to fire his DARK CANNON at the pair, a sinister grin on his face.

DONKEY KONG:
(Shocked)
No!

In a desperate move, DK punches Diddy away from the scene, sacrificing himself to take the shot.

DONKEY KONG:
(Determined)
Stay safe, Diddy!

The Dark Cannon fires, hitting DK and turning him into a trophy.

DIDDY KONG watches in horror as he flies away, seeing DK get turned into a trophy.

DIDDY KONG:
(Screaming)
DK!

BOWSER approaches the trophified DK, picking him up and taking him hostage.

BOWSER:
(Sneering)
You're mine now, Kong.

DIDDY KONG lands safely, but he's distraught, watching as Bowser takes DK away.

DIDDY KONG:
(Determined)
I'll save you, DK. I promise.

With renewed determination, Diddy sets off to rescue his friend and stop Bowser's evil plans.

EXT. PLAIN - DAY

MARIO and PIT have finally reached solid ground and are traversing a wide, open plain, continuing their pursuit of the HALBERD.

MARIO:
(Looking around)
We're getting closer, Pit. I can feel it.

PIT:
(Nodding)
Stay alert. We don't know what else might be waiting for us.

They make their way through the plain, fighting off minor Subspace Army troops and avoiding obstacles. As they near the end of their journey across the plain, they spot the ANCIENT MINISTER floating above them.

MARIO:
(Pointing)
Look, up there!

PIT:
(Determined)
The Ancient Minister!

MARIO prepares to catch him with a SUPER JUMP, launching himself into the air.

MARIO:
(Grunting)
Here I go!

MARIO jumps high, but the Ancient Minister is just out of reach.

PIT quickly jumps on top of Mario, trying to gain more height.

PIT:
(Holding on)
I'll go higher!

PIT leaps from Mario's shoulders, reaching even higher into the sky, but he also misses the Ancient Minister.

PIT:
(Frustrated)
He's too far!

The Ancient Minister escapes effortlessly, continuing to float away from them.

MARIO lands back on the ground, looking up in frustration.

MARIO:
(Determined)
We'll catch him next time.

PIT lands beside Mario, also looking determined.

PIT:
(Nodding)
We can't let him get away forever. Let's keep moving.

They continue their pursuit, more resolved than ever to stop the Subspace Army and the Ancient Minister.

EXT. JUNGLE - LAKE - DAY

DIDDY KONG is moving through the jungle, desperately searching for help to rescue DONKEY KONG. He stops by a lake, panting and looking around.

DIDDY KONG:
(Catching breath)
Where can I find help...?

He spots a crashed ship by the lake—it's the ARWING from before.

DIDDY KONG:
(Surprised)
What's that?
