ㅤ━━ [NAME] knew how dangerous and deadly kaijus are with their indency to cause serious bodily harm to others and society. they even were aware of the fact kaijus were killed in the order of defense—turning them into weapons to use against themselves.
they were very much so knowledgeable on what the japan anti-kaiju defense force does.
so then, why did the [h/c]ette have such a confident smug on their face upon making the choice of joining the very same defense force—with not only one—but two, kaijus by their side?
one reason: to prove that not all kaijus are deemed dangerous with the intent to eat humans. the [h/c]ette proudly huffs through their nose— after all, they've already been accepted to the second phase.
it's nothing out of the ordinary to have the inhumane ability to tame wild creatures—see the zoo? they've managed to tame tigers. what's there to say nobody can tame kaijus?
the [h/c]ette had a unique yet intriguing ability to somehow be able to tame kaijus without them having to harm anybody or have the intent to eat humans. however, there was a certain time when they had been killed eventually one by one from the very same defense force team when they were younger.
because of that incident, [name] was only left with 2 kaijus out of the 6 they had put effort into somewhat being able to tame. they didn't feel like taming any others for a while.
of course like any other excuse would be, their excuse was "to protect" and "ensure the people's safety" like always. but the [h/c]ette wanted to prove, that maybe not kaijus are the same.
"are you sure this is a good idea? what if we get ratted out and killed?" kaiju 0.2 asked, its tone clearly concerned for what would happen if they do get found out.
"trust me, i got this!" the [h/c]ette says in full confidence.
kaiju 0.2 wasn't so sure about trusting the [h/c]ette. at first, [name] looked predictable, but that would be proved wrong because despite seeming so, they never knew what mischievous things they were up to before experiencing it at first hand.
