Love Me (2)

The smell of blood and gore in summer's night,
As safety lost doth grieve returning fear,
Dragged in to death though fight with all their might,
Yet never worry, we're together, dear.

I kiss and you return, on sweet evening,
To act this way you must feel the same, right?
Or do you lead astray, forlorn keening?
Your perceived love is all that keeps me light.

A morbid curiosity that kills,
Drew you to look into that room, to pry,
Away the secrets and my hidden ills,
Can you not forgive? I never meant lies.

The dark is growing, I can feel it close,
Without your love I am a wrathful ghost.
