A lump formed in my throat, it was already there but it grew bigger. I was sobbing, sobbing so hard that I caught a major headache.

I knew what Kyle was saying, I couldn't believe I was saying this. It hurt me more than, what just happened, what I just witnessed.

"I'm saying," I choked a sob "its over"

"Kelsey," his voice cracked "please, don't do this"

"I'm sorry," I cried.

Police sirens were being heard from a distance, I looked up quickly.

They were seeming to get closer and closer, Shelby shouted my name but I was already gone. I heard footsteps running behind me, I assumed it was kyle so it only caused me to run faster. But I couldn't out run a football player.

"Kelsey," it wasn't Kyle's. It was Justin. Police cars were still being heard, I wasn't far from the house.

"Hey!" Someone different shouted "you two stop right there"

Justin caught up to my pace, "keep running" he said.

I did as told, we kept running. We ran for blocks, my legs were starting to give out. We ran another for another two blocks, until the police officer and sirens were out of distance.

I stopped running, breathing drastically, tears still falling from my eyes. I pushed my hair back, that falling onto my face from my bun.

Justin just stared at me, he had nothing to say and neither did I.

He licked his bottom lip, before fixing his hair.

"I'm sorry," he spoke

"What are you sorry about?" I sniffled.

"Kyle," he sighs

"Oh,"

"I just met him, I didn't know you two were dating until after the Snapchat"

"But you knew, so why didn't you just Snapchat me?" I grew angrier.

"I don't know, I just, I'm sorry Kelsey" I couldn't help but feel bad. It was his fault at all.

"It's okay, you can go back to that party with your girlfriend and I'll call Shelby"

"I can't leave you here by yourself," he said "its dangerous"

"No, it fine. I got it" I waved him off

"No, I'll stay with you or we can walk back" he suggests, I agreed.

We walked back to the party in silence, we didn't say a word. There weren't much people left, cars abandoned the premises. The cop cars were no longer there as well.

"Justin," one guy said to him.

"Is everything good?" Justin asked

"Yeah, we were just-who's this?" He frowns

"Matt, this is Kelsey, Kelsey this is Matt" I waved nervously.

"Hi."

"Your the girl from Snapchat?" He smiled

"Yeah" I nodded.

"Wow, hotter in person" he winked, I blushed. I tried avoiding his eyes, but it was hard.

"Well, Lauren is looking for you" Matt said "she's having a fit, she thinks you ditched her.

Justin nodded, he looked to me "well, I should get going"

"Yeah, you should" It was awkward.

"Uh, bye" he scratches the back of his neck and looks for his girlfriend.

"It was nice meeting you," Matt smiles

"Uh, you too" he walked away, leaving me to wait for my best friend. I began to call her, when a familiar black F150 pulled up.

"Get in," Kyle demanded

"No," I shook my head "Shelby should be on her way"

"She left, she went back to your house. I made her leave, we need to talk"

"Talk about what? Its obvious you don't care"

"Please, just get in" he pleaded.

In the corner of my eye, I saw Justin and Lauren. He just stared at me, Kyle got out the car before guiding me into the cry. Justin broke contact and intertwined their hands before placing a kiss to her lips. I looked away and let kyle guide me in to his car.
