"Kelsey!" Shelby shouts breaking my train of thoughts

"Huh?" I looked at her.

"Are you seriously thinking of this?" She sighs

"I'm sorry," I drop my head

"Don't be, now, if you really want to see what's up then let's go" she said grabbing my keys.

"Where you going?" I asked "It's almost one in the morning!"

"I'm not going anywhere," she says "we are" she adds in.

I bit my bottom lip, watching her walk towards the door.

"Lets go, or do I have to drag you out?" She was giving me an ultimatum. So I went with the first one.

"Let me slip on my shoes," I roll my eyes. Slipping on my black low top converse, we walk out the door. Shelby locks my house door behind me and gets in the passenger seat of my car.

"Where are we going?"

"Kyle's house," my eyes widen, she gave me the shut up and drive look.

I started my car and headed in that direction.

"I can't believe I'm doing this" I shook my head.

"Well, you better believe it" she smirks, blowing me a kiss.

We arrived at Kyle's house five minutes later, I didn't see his car. But his parents were home.

"So, now we officially know he isn't home yet" shelby says "now do you want me to drive, or you continue driving?"

"I don't know, where are we going?" I asked

"That party," she said.

"What?" I gasped

"We need to at least catch him in act, now let me drive" she decides for herself.

"How do we even know where it is?"

"Its near that high school, Johnson" my eyes widen.

"That's on the other side of town," I began feeling uncomfortable. Spying on Kyle wasn't something I didn't want to do, but she was right if we wanted to catch him in act or at least confront him it'd be closure for me.

"fine," I say getting out the car switching seats.

"Have I ever told you, how much I love you?"

"No," I put my seatbelt on

"Well, I love you" she smiles.

"I love you too," I smile back.

Shelby and I have been best friends since thirds grade, we've been going to the same schools for the past ten years. We didn't meet Kyle until our sixth grade year and we didn't start dating until our sophomore year.

"So, what do you think you're going to do if you see him with someone else?" She bit her lip.

"I don't even know, I just-" I cut myself off, I didn't want to end things with him because I love him too much but I don't want to be with someone that'll do something like this and break my heart.

"Well, do what you feel is right, okay?" I nod, Shelby was always so helpful.

We arrived twenty minutes later, it was almost one thirty. We pulled up to a house full of cars and people, you could hear the music booming from inside. We drove down the street and spotted Kyle's car. We parked mines around the block and walked.
