Aveline wasn't feeling well the past few days, she had always felt sick.
So she decided to test something that might have been the cause for her sickness.
She went to the store while her husband was gone and bought a pregnancy test.

"Here you go Ma'am." The cashier handed her the pregnancy test which was in a small plastic bag.

"Thank You." Aveline then left the store and arrived home.

She tested it, and after a few moments.
It came out positive.
Aveline's eyes widened once she found out she was pregnant, she didn't know what to say to her husband.

After a few hours, her husband arrived home.
"Darling I'm home." He called out.

Aveline walked to him feeling anxious to tell him the news, "Honey.."

Her husband raised a brow, "What is it?"

Aveline sighed, "You're going to be a father.." She spoke.

Her Husband's eyes widened at her words, "You are pregnant..?"

Aveline gulped and gave him a nervous expression, "Yes.. I am.. Please don't be angr-"

Her husband hugged her as he gave a gentle smile, "I'm going to be a father!"

Aveline was a bit shocked from the sudden gesture, she didn't think her husband would be happy despite the times that both of them never expected to have a child, "I.. I thought you were going to be mad..?" Aveline spoke once they pulled apart from the hug.

"Why would I? I know we never expected to have a child but.. I'm happy to be a father.." He smiled.

Tears were forming in Aveline's eyes as she hugged him once more.

She was glad her Husband wasn't mad.

A few years past after Aveline gave birth, her child was a healthy boy which had the features of his father.

They were a happy family, it wasn't all that perfect, but everything was going great.

Aveline's phone rang, she placed down her book and answered the call, "Hello?" She spoke.

"Hello, is this Ms. Aveline Esther?"

"Yes it is, who is this?".

The call remained inaudible.

Once the call ended, Aveline started crying.
Her husband had gotten into a car accident and unfortunately passed away.

"Mommy.. Where's Papa?" Her son spoke.

Aveline glanced at her son, "He's in a far place honey.."

"Where though..?"

Aveline sighed and gave him a soft smile, "A place called heaven dear.."

"Will I ever see him again?"

Aveline hesitate for a few moments before speaking, "Of course dear.."

Her son smiled and hugged her tightly.

A year passed, Aveline found a new job that pays her well, the only problem was is that she had to work till evening.
She was able to find a Kindergarten to take care of her son.

Her son enjoyed it there a lot, but, what confuses her is that he always talked about a man that always wears his favorite color, Red.

The next day, the news suddenly stated that the Kindergarten was shut down due to the strange incidents occuring like children going missing.
Aveline found the news while she was scrolling through her phone on her way to the daycare, Her eyes widened at the news.
Her son was still inside, she started getting really worried and tried her best to arrive there quickly.
Once she arrived, she tried knocking on the glass doors, it was closed.
She consulted with the Police, but the Police stated that all the children were released from the daycare, and that they contacted the parents.
But, Aveline never got a message.
She still tried to convince the police, yet the police didn't agree.
After a few days, she decided to find her son herself.
