He Didn't Listen

"What's wrong" she said as she pulled the door open. 

"Klaus is in town and possessing Ric, Katherine was let out of the tomb when we daggered Elijah, Elena just woke Elijah up and Klaus is going to sacrifice Elena for the curse" Damon blurted all of that out while pacing. She needed to call Jenna. 

"Why exactly does he need Elena again" she asked, trying to figure the curse out. Damon explained it all again and Lyra was confused. "That makes absolutely no sense. I need to speak with Elijah"

"No, we need to stay away from the crazy people and find a way to protect Elena" he tells her, she explains she's going to find a way to stop it and will call him. Once he leaves, Lyra makes sure Bipsy will watch Teddy and heads off to find Jenna.

When she had called Jenna, she told Lyra Alaric was coming over so they could talk. Lyra headed straight for her and warned her of what was going on. Lyra slammed her SUV into park and ran up to the porch and straight into the house.

"He here yet" Lyra asked quietly, Jenna nodded towards the kitchen. She walked in to find 'Alaric' chopping up vegetables. Smirking, she walked to the opposite side of the counter. "So, Klaus. We need to have a talk" he looked up at her surprised.

"Who are you" he asks, then adds "And how did you know"

"Well, I'm Lyra. I'm a friend of Jennas and a little birdy told me" Lyra smiled at him, "Also I think there is something you're missing about your curse"

'Alaric's' face goes blank, "How would you know anything about my curse. You're not a witch" he says harshly.

"I'm not a witch you're familiar with but I am something so much stronger" Lyra pauses for dramatics, "One question about your curse" he nods, "If you break the curse using vampire and wolf blood, adding in the doppelganger next, how exactly do you plan to make more hybrids when the doppelganger is dead" She watches as he thinks over that, "Just like for you to become the hybrid, whoever you sire will need the doppelganger blood as well" She see's when it finally clicks.

"That bitch" Klaus is pissed, "To break it I have to kill the one thing I need to make more" of course his temper goes off and the knife embeds in the wall behind her. Jenna runs in worried.

"Are you okay" Jenna asks, receiving a nod she stays next to Lyra. They wait for Klaus to finish his temper tantrum.

Klaus looks to Lyra, "You said you could help me"

Nodding, Lyra answers "I do believe I can. We have a few days until the full moon. As long as you don't hurt Jenna I will help"

Klaus nods and follows Lyra out so they can head out to discuss plans.

When Lyra finally heard from Elijah, she had just gotten home from talking to Klaus. Elijah wanted to come by and speak with her, so here she was, waiting for him to show up. Finally feeling him enter her wards, her eyes widen. 'Holy shit, he's old' she thinks as she opens the door to wait for him.

Watching Elijah walk up the steps, she says "Come in, do you care to tell me why you forgot to tell me your brother is Klaus" he looks surprised.

"What" he responds, utterly undignified.

"I met your brother, we had a chat but us three are going to continue that chat" Lyra glares, "I'm going to give you my full history first and I hope you will tell me yours. I will give you a vow that I will never tell anyone what you have told me" She can tell Elijah is intrigued. 

"I will reciprocate, and I give you my word that I won't tell anyone" Elijah promises. His nap must have made him forget he couldn't anyway.

Lyra began at the very beginning. She had given him the cliff notes version in the car but now she starts with the prophecy and her parents' death. Elijah sat stunned while she told him everything. He had a couple of questions and when she finished he began. He started with Henrik and how that made their mother change them. He told her about their father and how they found out Niklaus wasn't his. Lyra was stunned in return, she did notice a few things he mentioned that she would ask about after.
