Their story was the perfect story, but just like any other stories, theirs ended. Who ended it? Her.
Year 2022
She is texting another person, she is having fun with another person. Whenever she is wih him, she always talks about the other person. How amazing this person is, how funny this person is, how intelligent this person is, and so on.
He, on the other hand, always listens to her and never complains. He showed no sign that he is bothered. Because the amazing person is not a "he" but a "they/them" - a nonbinary, to which others refer to as lessbian. She too never thought of the possibility of liking Them.
Long story short, She and Them went from friends to more than friends. More than friends - chatting till two in the morning.
She is confused. She still spent every Sunday afternoon with him but all other days She prefers to talk to Them than to He. She asks Them "what is happening between them," and that was her mistake. Instead of asking and listening to Him, to whom She loved the most, She asked Them. The result? She ended her and his' beautiful and peaceful story and chose Them.
It was heartbreaking. She cried the whole night, her heart full of regrets. The morning after the break up, She is willing to end whatever she has with Them and go back to him but she thought of her career and what would have happened the moment she ends her relationship with Them. She decided to finally let go of He and continue whatever they have with Them.
