In the dimensions between the vast arrays of doorways to other worlds and times, there is a magic bar. The bartender takes great care of his place in space, and knows when two people are heartbroken. He prepares the opportunity for many of the broken-hearted to travel to a place for them to forget their feelings.

He wipes the inside of a cup and ponders a single fact, they always have the choice to walk away from the portals, yet most take the chance to escape. His bar is a safe-haven where they forget, fall in love, and remember all over again. They learn to appreciate their feelings, and find the courage to face what they left behind.

He carefully arranges the bottles, though they are all filled with the same thing. The tinkling from a small bell reaches his ears, one that might be heard to alert of someone entering a room. Though no one had arrived yet, he knew there were many waiting to find a place to let go of their problems. He took a moment to wipe the counter, and then signaled the musicians in the corner to begin playing. He opened the portals and people from other worlds entered into the bar.
