When I was born and I took my first breath, at that moment on, you knew I'd be your baby until death. From then on, everyday we spent together was memorable, we had made a bond, a bond that was inseparable. Every time you'd come back home, I'd be waiting at the door, when you'd walk in I'd greet you and you'd smile at me even more.
Years went by, and we grew older, our bond as strong as ever, and when you were sad I was there for you to cry on my shoulder. One day when you left, God told me it was my time, my time to be laid to rest. I won't be with you physically, but instead in your heart for eternity. When you came home, you saw that I was gone, my motionless body was cold and your heart torn.
This time I wasn't waiting at the door like I used to everyday before, but I promise you, when we meet once more, at the Gates of Heaven I'll be waiting for you, and we will be together forevermore.
