Risked It All For You (Thoma x Ayato)

Chapter 1: The Beginning of Forever

(LETS GOOOOO CHAT. I FINALLY REMEMBERED TO WRITE. I hope you guys are ready for this absolute BANGER. Of course as always I am writing this in the middle of the night so expect a bit of bad grammar here and there cause I am sleep deprived but this is the only way I can work)

Marriage, who knew it could be so complicated. To think it would be over with just a simple 'I do' but alas things could never be so simple. Ayato sits at his desk with his head rest on his palm. He looks over the mountain of paperwork with a irritated but focused look. After looking over a few more papers and writing down a few more words, he breathes a sigh of relief. 

"Finally, it's all done" Ayato says to himself.

Thoma, who was cleaning some shelves nearby, looks over happily.

"Really? All of it is done?" He asks enthusiastically.

"Yes, after a month past our wedding, we are now officially married," Ayato says as we walks over to hug Thoma.

Turns out crashing your husbands wedding and proceeding to steal him from his almost wife does NOT get you instantly married! An official wedding was arranged for the two and after weeks of paperwork and documentation, they were finally officially married.

"There's only one thing left to do," Ayato said.

"What would that be?" Thoma questioned.

"It's time to plan the honeymoon" Ayato says excitedly, "I'll go begin planning."

Ayato leaves the room for a brief moment leaving Thoma alone.

(For future reference whenever I use ' ' This is to indicate its their inner thoughts cause I don't wanna keep making that distinction)

' I can't believe it, I'm actually married, to Ayato!' Thoma thinks to himself for a moment. 

'This should be such a wonderful experience but why does part of me feel anxious?'

Ayato returns to the room, before he starts to speak again, he notices Thoma's expression.

"What's wrong dear? You seem upset" Ayato says.

"I'm not sure, I was feeling excited about our marriage but all of a sudden I started to feel anxious" Thoma explains, "maybe..."

"Maybe what?" Ayato questions.

"Maybe it's because I don't think I'll be good enough" Thoma explains.

"That's nonsense, you are the most perfect person I've ever met, I can't name a single flaw with you" Ayato says reassuringly.

"Well, it's not that I don't think I'm enough for you, I think I won't be enough for the people, for the nation" Thoma says.

"Oh Thoma, don't let that worry you, their opinions mean nothing, and if you're really so anxious about it I promise to teach you everything you need to know to rule by my side, forever" Ayato says.

He gives Thoma a big hug and a kiss on the cheek to help calm him down. Thoma soon relaxes into the hug and begins to feel better about the situation.

"Now, let's not get too upset, we have a honeymoon to plan, come on let's begin deciding where we'd like to go" Ayato says while slowly pulling Thoma's hand.

Later that day, Thoma goes out into Inazuma City to do some shopping. By the time he returns home the sun has already began to set. It was kind of scary walking into the city but luckily he didn't have too much of a rough time. Only a few dozen crowds swarmed and question him which in his book is pretty good. 

As Thoma enters the house he is greeted with a fully decorated dining room. The table is fully set with a giant feast and party decorations cover the walls. Suddenly, 

"SURPRISE!!!"

Thoma is startled and drops his bags. He turns towards the noise and sees Ayato, Ayaka, Kokomi, Gorou, and Yoimiya popping out to surprise him.

"What is all this?" He asks as he collects his bags.

"I decided to host a small party to celebrate our marriage, I invited a few friends, I hope you don't mind" Ayato explained.

"Now that you're here we can finally dig into this delicious food that's been teasing me this entire time" Gorou says. 

Thoma puts his bags away and joins everyone at the table. The night is full of cheer as everyone celebrates the new happy couple. In this moment, nothing else matter to Thoma, not his future as Ayato's husbands, not the people's opinions, nothing. All that mattered was spending time with his friends and celebrating with beginning of forever with his husband.
