I never really thought about how there could be different universes out there. But after watching 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' with my friends. It got my mind thinking maybe there are other versions of me doing things different. Maybe there's a time when I wasn't even a kpop idol. Or maybe I didn't make it past I-land and ended up debuted in another group. Maybe I never wanted to be an idol and ended up going to university where I majored in arts.

Who knows the possibilities are endless and an infinite amount of different me. According to the movie at least, it's really fascinating to think about. Obviously it's all fiction and never would actually happen. However, it's something that's really cool and would be awesome if it was actually true. I got really interested in this idea and started googling more things about this.

I ended up down a rabbit hole of research and theories as I was walking back to the dorms. One of the theories that really caught my eye is one called the 'Mandela Effect.' Apparently it's "a type of false memory that occurs when many different people incorrectly remember the same thing." I found this to be very interesting because how can so many people remember one thing when it is actually another thing. It makes me think about whether or not those people who remembered wrong came from another universe or timeline. But how would that explain so many of them coming over to this universe?

I ended up down a Reddit thread that led me to something I didn't expect. It lead me to a series called "Zero Escape." It's a series of visual novels where the game characters are trapped in a facility and forced to play a game. It has escape rooms where the characters have to solve. The concept of the game seems cool, however the thing that caught my eye is how the progression of the game goes.

It would appear that after the main character progresses through the story, some choices made cause well... a game ending. After a specific choice is made and an ending occurs, you're given the option to travel back to a specific moment where a decision was made. Then you can continue the game with the other choice you didn't make the first time.

This wouldn't be as intriguing as it sounds, however, when the main character travels back to that choice. He remembers everything that occurred in the other timeline. I found this to be interesting and had many questions and read further down the Reddit thread. However, after a while I had too many questions and ideas. This ended up getting too complicated for me and I stopped doing research on my phone as I was heading back to the dorms.

As I was entering the building of the dorm I started looking up a kdrama to watch on my phone for later. I enter the elevator and press the button to head up the floor. As the doors closed I suddenly felt a chill down my back.

The elevator started to ascend and the elevator lights started to flicker. My heart started to beat faster as I was wondering what was happening. Suddenly the elevator stopped and started shaking. It started to get worse, the lights started flickering even and the tremors in the elevators got worse.

I ended up dropping my phone. I went to the back corner of the elevator and held onto the railing for stability. I slowly crouched down to stabilize myself further as the tremors got worse. After what felt like ages the tremors and flickering lights finally stopped.

My body was still shaking from the tremors and the fear of the elevator collapsing in on itself. Was it an earthquake? I wondered what could have caused the elevator and lights to shake and flicker on like that. The only possible solution to these questions was that there was an earthquake. But, South Korea doesn't get many earthquakes. Even if we did, they wouldn't be that bad. I think... This was my first time ever experiencing one.
