Chapter 1

You're hitting the big two-one, and the fam is throwing a huge bash to celebrate. But while everyone's having a blast, there's a heavy choice hanging over your head. Your folks pull you aside to lay down the family tradition: you’ve got to pick one of your cousins to be your husband.

You’re no pushover; you’ve got your own strengths. But your cousins? They’re a whole different level of tough, each one running their own family business like a boss.

First up is Jeon Jungkook, the head honcho at JK Industries. This guy's got a reputation for being a cutthroat player in the game, charming everyone while he crushes the competition. He’s got that killer instinct, but man, he’s got a thirst for power that’s hard to ignore.

Then there’s Park Jimin, the brains behind JM Enterprises. He’s built his empire from scratch, and while he might come off as quiet, don’t let that fool you..his determination is as solid as they come. But you can’t shake the feeling that he might want to call all the shots.

And let’s not forget Kim Taehyung, the wild card running VT Holdings. This dude’s all about taking risks and breaking the mold. He’s got a flair for the unpredictable, and while he’s fiercely loyal, you never quite know what he’s gonna do next.

Now, you’re stuck pondering who to choose. It’s a huge deal that could shape your whole future. You glance at Jungkook, admiring his swagger and business savvy, but his ruthless side gives you pause. Then there’s Jimin, whose strategic mind you respect, but you can’t help but worry he might be a bit too controlling. It’s a tough call, for sure.

You take a big breath, trying to clear your mind. Who are you gonna pick?

Just then, your Uncle Hansol steps up to the plate. He clears his throat and says, “Alright, everyone, listen up. This is a big moment for our family. You know the drill, dear. According to our traditions, it’s time for you to choose one of your cousins to marry. That’s why we’re all gathered here today.”

As he wraps up, you glance at your cousins. They’re all just staring at you, their faces like stone...no smiles, no frowns, just blank. It’s like they’re waiting for you to make a move, but you can’t read a thing from them.

You're staring at your feet, too nervous to even glance at Jungkook, Jimin, or Taehyung right now...

Just when the confusion is about to swallow you whole, one of your aunties steps in. “Alright, let’s not rush this. Sure, we respect our family traditions, but this isn’t the same world we grew up in. Let’s give her some time to really think this through.”

She looks at you with warm eyes and carries on. "You know, this is a huge choice that’s gonna shape her whole life. Let’s not pile on the pressure."

You feel a little weight lift off your shoulders. Your aunt’s words spark a flicker of hope. Maybe you’ll get a chance to sort things out after all. But when you glance over at your cousins, they still seem totally checked out.

Jungkook’s eyes are practically shouting, “I’m not into this,” Jimin’s face is all “meh,” and Taehyung looks like he’d rather be anywhere but here. You think, "If they’re not feeling it, why don’t they just speak up? Why are they standing there like they’re carved from stone?" It’s like they’re waiting for someone else to take the lead, or maybe they’re just trying to dodge a family showdown. The silence is super awkward, and you wish someone would just be real about how they feel.

“This is so silly,” you think, rolling your eyes. But then, out of nowhere, someone pipes up.

“Why are we acting like she’s free? Has anyone even thought that she might already be with someone?”
