"Did Ken told you about me?" I start to have a conversation to cover up the attempt a while ago. "Yes, we know it's too hard for you to talk about that, so he initiated." When she started crying, I felt the urge to protect her from any harmful things. I hugged her tight and buried her face in my chest. "I...I missed them..." She whispers in such a sad tone. I stroke her hair and hug her tighter. "I missed them...I missed them so much..." "It's okay, you can cry on me, I promise I'll protect you." She burst out crying loud that almost breaks my heart even though I'm the one beside her, I can't even ease her pain.

After a while, only her sobs can be heard from the room. I cupped her face and wiped her tears away from her eyes. "This will be the last time you will cry....so I will protect you no matter what, Silver." She shook her head. "I don't want you get involve with Insignia...." "Will fight them, with everyone else too." She brushes her cheeks dry. "No, you don't know them Jiro, just like what they did to you. They are not that kind of people, they are much worst that you've seen. And I don't wanna see you like that again. Besides, it's me who they want from the first place."

"Just like couples have as a symbol?" I nodded. "Something likes that, but ours is special." "How so?" "You can't take it off because it was buried in our skin, so there's no way of getting it off." "You don't have to think about them right now, you don't have to worry for the mean time. I want to spend the whole time with you alone, okay? (Silver's POV)

But I want to cherish this moment, because after this, I don't know if I can see him like this again, smiling, loving only me. I know I'm lying to myself, but I can only be selfish this time. Just this time, spare me from the pain and hurtful memories and just be with him. Just this filch time I want to be with him. Cherishing every moment with him, because after this was the real battle and the outcome is blurry.
